My love of jewellery began when my father took me to a tiny, exclusive store and had me select a white gold setting for an aquamarine and blue sapphires ring. It was my 20th birthday and I am now 80, and still have the ring!

My father did something similar, and as he was a businessman who traveled a lot he also loved to buy jewelery on these travels. Especially pedants because they can change a chain and outfit at once, for example an elephant pendant with a beautiful ruby on it and precious stones like a yellow topaz or a big smokey quartz stone. He had a very humble upbringing with no jewelery at home at all in his younger years but somehow he had a sence of style. I miss him everyday.

Dom, after my Mom passed away, I gave myself a gift to celebrate my 11-year caregiving journey with her.....I knew she would approve.... a carat on each ear lobe, martini setting. Jewelry makes me feel polished and usually tells a little about my mood at the time.

Love this! Very helpful. Hope you will do one with round neck tops. And I love you brought Audrey in ❤. I have a necklace with a heart that my son gave me when he was in 2nd grade. Of course, it was from Santa’s Secret Shop so not expensive at all but it’s worth more than the Crown Jewels to me as we lost him at the age of 10. I wear it with a small butterfly on top of it.

Video suggestion: arm workout routine! You are killing it in that area. I'm 59, started dumbbells workout at home about 3 months ago. I definitely see improvement, but not as sculpted as you! Hope you will consider! Have a great weekend!! :)

I loved this video but would like to share something which you didn't touch on. As we age, styles that used to suit us suddenly don't work anymore. For example, sagging earlobes cannot support heavy or dangly earrings and arthritic fingers are more suited to delicate pieces.

This is a great tutorial! I just wish that I had the time to plan ahead for accessorizing (and to "play" with experimenting with different combinations). One thing that I like to do is to plan my wardrobe ahead of time for the week. I select my accessories and place them into a baggy attached to the hangers grouping my wardrobe pieces for the day. Then when I wake up at 5:00AM, all of the clothes and coordinating accessories are ready to go for that particular "outfit" for the day. I learned a lot from my mother, and I'll bet that you did too! 🙂

That was fun and different! Loved it! I have a huge jewelry collection and I have some beautiful pieces. I now wear all my really good jewelry whenever I want and do not have to be going out anywhere to just enjoy them. I have.been doing that with dishes and silver cutlery. I just need to enjoy using the good stuff for everyday! Why not! If you only live once, do it right and enjoy your life!🌟

Thank you for this. When i was a little girl, my uncle called me “material girl” because i LOVED ago play with style and jewelry. Life hasn’t gone that way for me. But, My mother in law is PRO at collecting and wearing gorgeous jewelry and here, I have become inept at matching styles together when I don’t have a full set that coordinates. I have so much jewelry and seldom wear any of it. I often rediscover some fun things hen looking for special occasion pieces and think, “I should wear my jewelry more often!”. Fashion looks, would love to see straight leg cargo pants, wide legged pants, upscale harem pants (not yoga or joggers). I am trying to build more pants into my wardrobe aside from my jeans. 😊

This was a helpful video. I guess as I have aged my overall theme is less and keep things basic. Pretty much I just wear earrings with my outfits and I have three favorites: Kate spade Huggies, Kate spade bows, and my Channel CC earrings. I prefer yellow gold now. I use to love silver and white gold but some years ago I switches to yellow gold and I think that works for me.

I enjoyed the info from this video. I have always loved and collected jewelry. My mother always told me to take care of my things, because what goes out of style usually comes back in style. I still have 3 necklaces from my childhood/teenage years that my parents gave me as presents. They are a delicate gold heart necklace, a silver cross necklace, and a cultured pearl necklace. I treasure them and always think of my parents when wearing them. My heart necklace was given to me when I was little and I wore it on my wedding day.

I think I am neutral toned..I look good in both gold and silver. is that a thing? Never could figure out skin tones. I always tanned easy, was light blonde naturally, I'm dark ash/silvery gray strands( my hair stylist says it beautiful, but I still am shocked, stopped coloring hair in 2020). am winter colors. idk, its all confusing to me
