Yes, that's the colour analysis from the 80's. Is about to colour yourself beautiful, with the right colours to your own, you'll look beautiful. Pastels are only for those with bright hair and blue eyes, Black and white are for ppl with black hair and brown eyes, with black or white skin, they fits sharp colours to. Ppl with brown or red hair and brown, green or blue eyes, shall have warm colours as beige, brown, bottle green, mustard yellow, Orange, natural white. The colours who fits everyone are sharp pink ( cerise), navy blue, light green and red violet, those colours get warm with warm colour, and cold with the cold ones.

I’ve purchased magnetic clasps to modify all my small clasp necklaces. Now I don’t have to fuss with them and they pop on and off very easily. I get them from etsy. I always buy gold fill, not plated so they never wear down or tarnish. All you do it attach the necklace to each side of the magnetic clasp and you’re in business.
I used to wear all those big jewelry looks & genuine stone jewelry. I passed them along to my eldest daughter when she turned 40 and she loves them❤ Simplicity is key for me as I age. I prefer smaller more delicate pieces & a much softer look. I love my classic pearls. I think they're classic elegance that never go out of style❤
@@BusbeeStyle I understand, been there myself. I bought, made & remade my own jewelry creations, most passed on as family heirlooms. Genuine pearls? Hmm, possibly own every color? lol Some classic others more trendy? I do own/like med size hoop earrings but prefer my classic diamond studs for every day wear. Overall it's just where I'm at in life right now with soft vs bold. With that said, if you would be so kind, I would love to see a video of classic & more delicate jewelry pieces featured sometime? I miss the OG Henri Bendel in NYC. I used to stop in there every time we visited my hubby's parents. Even once they went to all accessories they had some great stuff I still use. Sad to see the iconic store gone. =(
I think she did it to provide a dark background but agree it wasn't the best choice? A black t-shirt or turtleneck might have worked better? Again I'm no fashion guru🤷🏻♀️ lol

I’m loving Dean Davidson. It’s sleek, edgy, and feminine. I have two medium/larger studs from them that I absolutely LOVE. I want more pieces. I’m also loving huggie style hoops. My ears are triple pierced and it’s nice to throw a huggie in my second hole. I bought some Bony Levy fine jewelry ones (real gold/diamonds) at Nordstrom Rack. They are so beautiful and I feel special every time I put them on.
I find it difficult to nail down my personal style but somehow the jewelry I choose has a very clear voice. What is THAT about? I’m guessing is because that is the fashion element my late Mum invested in most AND what was most distinctive on her. Yet my style is very different. It’s interesting. I often feel like the fashions I like are too influenced by others but I a, unwaveringly consistent about jewelry. I think this video, and the statement necklace link in particular, have just really helped me get a clearer vision for my personal style. Still not sure what to call it but it is definitely NOT going to fit certain style types that I was thinking I might be. Thanks, Erin!

This is so helpful. I need to invest in better pieces. I have some cheap pieces that end up tarnishing or the plating wears off quickly and some turn my neck green. Not a good look.
If you wear it a lot, then it was worth it. Think about the cost per wear. I'd rather see you buy one or two pricey pieces, but wear them a ton over a bunch of cheaper items that sit and don't get worn. xo
Ppl with yellow undertones in their skin, shall use gold, blue undertones goes with silver and black skin suits silver. You'll find your undertone colour at your skin at your inner side of your arm.
To specify :the plated Jewelry DOES tarnish eventually. If you want completely non tarnish you need to chose GOLD FILLED material.As good as it sounds to not buy the fun jewelry pieces what you are suggesting will just classify everyone being the same if we all wear the same "trendy" jewelry. Sometimes its good to be different not always in trend one can create trends not just follow.
