New Zealand bands are definitely underrated and happily fly under the radar. There is some massive musicianship coming out of EN ZED. Always been the way. Always will be. NZ musos are so good.

Love this band! "In The Air" and "Yes I Do" both live at Roundhead are awesome, as is "Ain't No Use" Live at One Love 2021 where Joel brings on one of his students to play guitar with them. "Proud Man" is powerful.

Absolutely loved you reaction and your knowledge of music 💯 I think you would love this video a lot.. - L.A.B Ain’t no use Live at One Love 2021 I think you will appreciate the live performance a lot, Has epic riffs and definitely up there with the best live performances! would love to see your reaction to it. "In the Air" has an altogether different vibe which is an easy listening r&b groove to it, "Fashion Dread" has an old skool 70's sound, the base in it is heavenly. "Yes I do" and "Natural" are both beautiful mixes of poly (polynesian) reggae, and flirtatious love songs - with a bit of grunt! Hope I have piqued your interest to give these songs a whirl! L.a.b are very cool. I actually study music in nz and they came and taught a workshop for my class, as did Laughton Kora (also from the band Kora)

L.A.B is very versatile band with a diverse discography. A fusion of Soul, RnB, Funk, Blues, Rock or Country underpinned by NZs Indigenous/Reggae rhythms. Here's a sample of that diversity: In The Air (Santana-esk) Yes I Do (RnB) Fashion Dread (Funk) Natural (Soul/RnB) Personify (Rock) Why Oh Why (Reggae) Under The Sun {Country) Proud Man (Rock/Reggae EWF-esk) Ain't No Use Live at One Love 2021 (Rock/Blues) etc When available the Live/Studio performances are Best. ... Enjoy the ride down L.A.B and NZ music's rabbit hole. It's a VIBE, Sounds familiar yet Hits a little different.

Mike, L.A.B are performing a one-off only concert on 14th May at Belly Up, Solana Beach, CA USA so thought I'd give you a few more suggestions to checkout their VIBE on the off chance they'll persuade you to go.and check them out. - In the Air - Backseat - Fashion Dread - Proud Man - Ain't No Use Live at One Love 2021 Their Live Studio (Roundhead/Massey) performances are always best.
