EXPLORING the secret abandoned hidden underground tunnels of Puiselet Sand Mine in northern France.
The sand mine is located about an hour and a half south of Paris near to the Fontainebleau forest.
We arrived as the sun was setting with just enough light left to quickly rustled up some grub by the side of the road before heading off into the woodland to try and find the way in.
We had randomly found a GPS location with some brief instructions on how to find the secret way into the Mine whilst exploring a V1 rocket mine further North, however, trying to find a hidden entrance in rapidly fading light in the middle of nowhere proved quite a challenge...after about half an hour of hunting around in the dark we finally found the crawl in and it was well worth it!
