Funnily enough, I always thought it could have been Usopp telling the story of OP to Kaya, keeping his promise to her in the beginning of the story.

Theory: Binks sake is about returning the strawhat to Joyboy. Roger laughed because they left shanks and the hat behind whilst singing the aforementioned on the way to laugh tale. Shanks cried because he thought it was his fault his father figure couldn't realise his dreams

World breaking theory: Luffy actually knows that ussop is sogeking, he just played along to honor his fight among men.

"Kikoku" sounds very similar to "keikaku" which means "plan", further enhancing the theory behind Laws cursed sword.

One last "relevant" character after Scopper Gaban would be that damn giant egg!!

I believe the fact that Momo’s fruit failed is because he turned straight into a dragon and not a fish like Kaido does.

My craziest one piece theory is that the One Piece is just the giant Joyboy's one piece swimsuit that Luffy will wear when he turns himself into a giant to destroy the red line.

Another theory the lunarian flame powers only ignites when in a heat of passion which is why king is in a gimp outfit and sanji is perverted

The Scopper theory makes a lot of sense. In The beginning of the Grand line we met Crocus a member of the Roger piratas that explains a little hiw things work, In The middle we get Rayleight another member of rogers crew that has a similar role( but bigger) and In The end there will be scopper.

I like the theory, that Yamato is the narrator. There many good reason for it: 1. Yamato was inspired by the logbook of Oden, so there is a good chance, that Yamato also wants to write a book, which is as inspiring to enlight and support a new generation. Similar how Oden helped Yamato to overcome the abuse of Kaido. It would be an amazing dream to fulfill. 2. It would mirror Roger and Oden's realationship. Similar how Oden documented Roger's journey, Yamato would record Luffy's. 3. Yamato would join the crew extremely late. Jinbei joined also late, but he is around much longer even pre timeskip. So having Yamato be the narrator, would mean that Yamato was always around. It would a great connection point for the audience and the character. 4. It would allow an unique interaction with the other crew member, if Yamato would always ask about past events and write anything down. 5. Writing a log is a common position on a shipcrew and nobody claimed it yet.

Oh yeah, Lucky Roo DID point-blank shoot a dude in the head in chapter 1. That's still so weird to think about.

Theory: The mythical Fish Fish Fruit actually turns you into a carp, without the ability to swim or breathe and actually requires years of mastery to evolve into the Dragon Form that Kaidou is using right now. But Vagepunk was only able to replicate the dragon transformation. So from a purely scientific standpoint he clearly failed to copy the main feature of the fruit.

I actually really love the Conquerors Haki idea. The idea that anyone can manifest it, but not everyone is going to be able to display the drive and willpower to do it. Everyone can gain it, but not everyone will awaken it by trying. Edit: A lot of people REALLY want to. "Uhm, acshually" me on this so I'm going to point out that ALL I AM SAYING is that I like the concept presented here. I know that not how haki works at this point in the series. You don't need to be a tremendous nerd everytime someone expresses interest in a theory on the internet it's not that hard.

My theory is that Devil Fruits originally come from the Moon and the Lunarians which is why they can't touch water. Because the fire would go out.

Hey Liam have you ever noticed during Kaido's intro in the anime it was stated that he has fought the 4 emperors? Pretty sure he wasn't fighting himself.

The Gecko Islands (The home of three legendary snipers, Yasopp, Go D. Usopp, and Sogeking) will be known as Sniper Island by the end of the series.

I went off on a tangent when thinking about One Piece theories, stuff about Blackbeard being a product of MADS and perhaps he's even a result of them cloning/re-incarnating Rocks, you know, the usual. And then I lingered a bit on the Rocks Pirates, realizing we still haven't had any confirmation on whether or not Streusen was a crewmember. There's certainly a lot of doubt that Streusen would be able to survive on such a violent crew but it would just as impressive if it turns out he could ... or, you know, Big Mum just protected him.

Why is everyone forgetting that Zoro killed the judge in the beginning of Wano?

Scopper Gaban was originally known as Silver Axe and a part of Xebecs crew. When Roger beat them, he joined their crew. But because they already had someone named Silver, he was downgraded to Copper. Because Scopper Gaban was fighting with axes.

If there is "in story narrator" of Luffy's journey then it's either Luffy himself or Coby . Personally I don't think that's the case. PS: Actually it can be Usopp more than anyone.

I love the 5 years in one piece time idea. That would make so much more sense since we still have to cover the giants, black beard, shanks, the marines, laughtale, Imsama and other things

i have a feeling that Oda(that have a thing for numbers) will try to end One Piece on it's 30th anniversary. which means 6 years from now. which translates to roughly 210 chapters. and although 210 from now seems like it's still on the low side for how much is needed to wrap up the story, i think it's still possible, especially if Oda will decide he can't keep working like a maniac on this Manga for longer than that.

Off the top of my head the main scene where he kills people that I remember is him killing the magistrate and all those people in Wano. We also see Rayleigh kill 2 of the Whitebeard pirates in the flashback (They might be alive though Whitebeard would probably be mad if Rayleigh killed some of his children). And this is just speculation, but don't you think Luffy has killed at least one person? Like maybe they got their ribs broken, or maybe they burned to death from Red Hawk.

I personally believe the story is being told by Ussop, his final story being an honest one that no one believes rather than a lie. I also believe that Brook will awaken his devil fruit giving him the ability to revive someone at the cost of his own life.

My fav Sniper Island theory is that in the future Usopps home Island with Syrup Village becomes known as Sniper Island. Having produced the top 2 greatest snipers of all time (maybe Van Auger as well, idk) everyone comes to believe that Island produces the best snipers. Hence Usopps lie about being from Sniper Island would eventually be true.

I don't think just anyone can use Conqueror's Haki but I don't think it's tied to bloodlines or anything either. It just takes an exceptional amount of ambition and willpower, and very few people have the drive necessary to awaken it.

theory sanji has fishman DNA since each of the brothers have 1 from diff race Ichiji- lunarian(flame powers) niji- mink(electro) sanji- fishman(his lung capacity and his fishman speed underwater) yonji- giant(strength) but sanji is gonna unlock all of them and hes already unlocked the lunarian DNA

The narrator is Makino and Shanks' son/daughter. In the end of one piece, we'll have flashforward where Luffy will give his straw hat to him/her, and the crew will probably share their story. Just imagine the panels.. it would be perfect. Luffy and his crew, as adults, vibin around in a bar with a tiny Shanks/Makino.

The Scopper being a guide on Laugh Tale theory has more merit than we give credit. We don’t know his role in the crew and Oden became the navigator for Roger’s last voyage.. so Scopper could’ve been navigator before Oden joined. And if he was navigator, it would make sense for him to be a guide once they hit the last stop.

On a serious note, Sniper Island has good reason to exist, because otherwise people wouldn't be convinced about Sogeking. Now it could definitely be the case that Usopp lied about being the leader of Sniper Island, and he'll be in trouble when they actually end up there.

The reason it was a failure was not because it made a pink dragon instead of a blue one, it's because Vegapunk wanted to recreate the mythical fish fish fruit model carp but instead got a human human fruit model Kaido. The manga even said that the fruit was made from Kaido's dna, it didn't say his fruit's dna! Important semantics!
