Ryan and Kelly sailed Alaska's Inside Passage on Discovery Princess. In this video series, they share with you their complete cruise experience! See how they spend sea days exploring the ship and port days with excursions in Ketchikan, Juneau, and Skagway, Alaska.

Looking for more days .... what side of ship is the best to be on glacier cruise day ..

Hi, Matthew! Thanks for watching! Both sides of the ship will have good views and the guide onboard will speak to the whole ship for awhile about the glaciers and geography as you sail down the channel. Having a balcony for that was nice. As for the Endicott Arm, we weren't able to sail very far due to the large ice chunks but we took lots of pictures from the port side. However, the ship will turn around so both sides benefit. Our only other tip would be to stand on Deck 7 (as opposed to higher decks) to be closer to the water for better views!

Hello! I enjoyed your videos on discovery! For enclave, were you able to book just one day? I only see princess having the option for 7 days package now, not 1 day. Do they offer a daily pass after boarding only? Thanks.

Hello and thanks for watching! We were able to book a day pass once onboard. I've read that it depends on the sailing whether or not day passes are available. Mainly because they keep the number of people in the space limited every day. I also read in an online forum that you may be able to access The Enclave as a perk to booking a spa treatment, but I can't confirm that! Sorry we're not able to give a more concrete answer. We hope you have a fantastic cruise!

I really appreciate your vlog especially The Enclave! We love the thermal spa and there wasn’t a lot of info or real footage. You did such a great job and was so respectful of other people privacy. Keep up the vlogs!! Do you happen to know the price of a 1 day vs a 1 week pass for the enclave? Booked for December … super excited 🙆🏻‍♀️😊

Thank you so much! We're glad it was helpful for you :) Miranda mentioned pricing above but we're not able to confirm those numbers for you. After some searching, that seems about right, but we couldn't find anything concrete. It is cheaper to book pre-cruise versus onboard and prices can change depending on the sailing. Are the 8 (I think I counted correctly) heated loungers the only place to sit in the spa area? I have been in the spa on NCL ships and there is quite a lot of places to sit. They have the heated loungers but also have regular lounge chairs. We love to relax and read in the spa area. Just wondering if there is an area for that.

Hello! There are 12 heated ceramic tile loungers in the main area (eight that face the thalassotherapy pool and four more in a somewhat separate area that face each other). There is also seating within the individual treatment rooms but no regular or padded loungers anywhere, unfortunately. Thanks so much for watching!

Was the ship warm enough to wear a sleeveless dress or was it air-conditioned?

Hi, Blossom! Great question. I am always cold but found the ship to be pretty comfortable for me the whole week! I wore dressy tank tops and dresses every night and rarely needed a sweater. I hope that helps!

Hello! The Enclave not private. We arrived very early and filmed while only us and a few friends were there. We found it to be emptier on port days and during meal times. And yes, last we checked, you can buy a day pass or a pass for the whole cruise. However, day pass availability is often dependent on how many people have signed up for passes for the length of the cruise. Hope that helps! Thank you for watching!
