John bid on the pent house very low and we were shocked that we got it. So, no definitely not going to be the usual.. lol. The ship was amazing. Yes we are only 27 subscribers away so hoping to get there real soon. We are putting a video out tomorrow night or Monday regarding our Alaska group cruise in August of 2024. How was the spa? We tried it on Royal's Harmony of the Seas and it was bad. Nothing like overpaying just to get what amounts to a timeshare presentation. Do you actually get to enjoy your spa time in peace or do they try and upsell you the whole time?
We did not do the spa on this cruise. We’ve done it one time on carnival and they do try to sell you lotions and all stuff at extremely high prices. We just avoid going to the spas but some truly enjoy them. Personally we feel you can get a massage near home that’s way better and 1/4 the price and for a longer amount of time.
