I did not return to Israel since 2015 and had no opportunity to go to Jerusalem since 2006. I had not heard the fact that the jewish traces were erased under the Al-Quds Mosque. As Abraham was about to kill his son, God provided an animal instead. The whole story is a picture for God killing his own Son Jesus as a sin offering. Jesus died in our place so we can live and everyone who believes in Him and trusts God as Abraham did will be saved. So it's a very special place for us.
