he didn't spot me, they only spot you when the 3 bars over their head turn red and break. 3 bars just means they think somethings nearby and will start looking
If you want something actually hard like brotherman, play on hard difficulty. What's the challenge if you play on these easy difficulties, when my granma's sister played this she was playing without hands, on hard, without a controller on a wiimote. But you say you have the "world record" I don't think so

by making a save a loading it right before the grenade detonates it disassociates with the player, so even though the character dies it doesn't count as killing them
