Painting study of the Dishonored concept art from Cedric Peyravernay. I really like the art style of this game, so I've decided to try it out!

I've been trying to replicate the art style for about a month now, but it looks like you've cracked it! mabie you could do a tutorial on how to draw in this art style. I think that that would be pretty cool! keep up the good work.

Yes, I've tried to do it with painting directly in color, but using a coloring layer is the key. Hard brushes are too of course.

Bertus Dokter how did you go about the image here as in what techniques were used in terms of painting to replicate the artstyle because I am trying to practice getting my artstyle towards this

I used a thick and heavy brush, with full opacity. Then, with a smaller brush, I started to mix the colours roughly, while accentuating wrinkles and imperfections.
