Dishwasher Soap and Rinse Aid Door Replacement Kit 

Thank you for this. The rubber piece popped out of the soap dispenser on our Maytag. I lifted the door a bit to put it back on, and the spring came out completely. I couldn’t figure out how to reset the spring, so I turned to RU-vid. I watched this tutorial and not only had the spring back in correctly in less than two minutes, when I removed the door completely, I saw the rubber piece wasn’t totally in place. I’m glad I was able to fix that as well. It’s now working perfectly again. I appreciate you taking the time to make this helpful tutorial. Take care.

Aha! Our open button thingy had popped off. Found it in the bottom of the dishwasher, cleaned out some soap scum, put the button and spring back in. Et voila! Fixed. Thanks so much

What's the part number for just the replacement lids? All I can find is the entire kit, which I don't think I need.

Guys if just the rubber thing has came lose on your soap dispenser door u can take the door off and then clean up the soap residue and then properly place the rubber piece back where it needs to be then put the door back on.

I have been looking everywhere and all stores sell the whole dispenser. Where can I find the kit to replace just the lid? any ideas?

This kit doesn't exist. everywhere I look it is the full dispenser. So frustrating.

Only the entire dispenser assy available, it's now $200. I bought a Maytag so I wouldn't have to work on it... what a piece of junk. This part was designed to fail... I'll never buy another Maytag. Now I'm reading the door will just keep breaking because it's designed so poorly. Good Job, Maytag... a boycott is in order

Your video is nice and shows how easy the work is; however, I, like everyone else here need the lid and cannot find it without replacing the entire dispensing system. If that is the fix, then your video is crap! You show the "kit" being a door, but offer ZERO help in part location. thanks for nothing!

Stupid design and a piece of junk. The small button keeps falling off and getting lost in the dishwasher. Buyer beware!
