Video was taken at the D23 Expo Disney Legends Ceremony. This is the full video created to celebrate the Disney 100 Years of Wonder Celebration. (The Walt Disney Company 100 Year Anniversary Milestone) Narrated by Tom Hiddleston.
God bless you Walt Disney you and your brother Roy and the whole family of Disney be with you the 100 years Wonder is where's the stories characters and dreams come true it's only the beginning and also think you Walt Disney
@@KDawg92801 not since 2007. They got him back in a trade. However, you could argue that he fell into the public domain before that, and therefore The Public owns him... ...but you’ll have to defend yourself in court against Disney if you want to try to use him.
It really bothers me seeing “The Original” written next to that mouse’s image on merchandise. He was clearly a blatant rip off of Oswald. He would have never been where he is today. In fact, Disney, the company, would not be where they are today, had it not been for Oswald. He is the inspiration for Mickey, and quite possibly the inspiration of their own independent company. They’re celebrating 100 years, but that 100 years include the Alice shorts and the Oswald work they did with Universal.
@@UmmYeahOk He recently turned 95 meaning he even if his copyright was renewed he is now definitely public, just as long as you don’t use his “Lucky Rabbit” tagline and keep his pants grey.
As a massive Disney fan I wish them all the best for their 100th anniversary and beyond it’s hard to believe that they’ve been entertaining people around the world for 100 years Disney will always be a part of me you’re never too old to be a Disney fan

This is why Disney become the greatest Studios from the past years, i extremely glad they put their hearts from making cartoons, movies, games, comics and everything when they can. My life would be complete if i would become part off Disney team.
I lost it when they started playing “This Land” by Hans Zimmer from The Lion King. Saddens me to think there are some people believe Disney is for kids….boy are they wrong. It’s for everyone. That’s what Walt had intended it for. “Laughter is timeless, imagination has no age, dreams are forever”. Adults are only kids grown up
It brings back so many memorys to all the movies we have watch over the past year,to Marvel, Disney, Star Wars Pixar and more, and my first ever movie since I was born is Cars. Thanks Walt Disney for the good times :))
I still can’t believe that Disney is already going to be 100 years. I did not even exist yet when Disney first started but I’m starting to have nostalgia! ❤
‘To ALL Who Have IMAGINED With Us, LAUGHED With Us, & DREAMED With Us…. THANK YOU.’ -The Walt Disney Company (October 16th 1923-2023) Happy 100th Anniversary, Disney!
I've been a fan of The Walt Disney Company and 21st Century Fox for many years and I'm proud of what Disney has done for the past 100 years after seeing this sizzle reel. Disney has been inspiring, informing, and entertaining fans and families around the world for over 100 years from filmed entertainment to television to news to sports to streaming to theme parks to whatever the future brings. Congratulations to The Walt Disney Company for kicking off their 100th anniversary celebration and I hope there's more to come for the next 100 years! I hope Walt and Roy O. Disney, William Fox, Joseph M. Schenck, and Darryl F. Zanuck were here to see this since they're the ones who created The Walt Disney Company to where it is today. Walt and Roy O. Disney founded The Walt Disney Company in 1923 as the Disney Brothers Studio; prior to that, Walt Disney founded the short lived cartoon studio "Laugh-O-Gram Studio" in Kansas City, MO in 1921. William Fox, Joseph M. Schenck, and Darryl F. Zanuck founded 20th Century Studios in 1935, which was from the merger of Twentieth Century Pictures and Fox Film Corporation. However, I noticed that they're showcasing films from 20th Century Studios in this sizzle reel but they didn't show many of their classic films including Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Seven Year Itch, All About Eve, Cleopatra, The Sound of Music, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The French Connection, Patton, Alien, Edward Scissorhands, and William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet to name a few, as well as iconic shows from Disney's television networks and studios such as Felicity, Glee, How I Met Your Mother, Castle, Revenge, Wizards of Waverly Place, Phineas & Ferb, and DCOMs such as Camp Rock and High School Musical.
That was surprisingly so well made. Good work Disney especially the team that brought the vision of this promo all together and edited it. They should upload this on their RU-vid channel.
@@manuelorozco7760 I couldn't agree more, I came back to celebrate the show's 5th anniversary since May after re-watching the CGI animated movie last April. Not just the original voices of Rapunzel and Eugene Fitzherbert reprised their roles (as well as the talented voices of Clancy Brown, Julie Bowen, Eden Espinosa, Jeremy Jordan, James Monroe Iglehart, Jonathan Banks, Kelly Hu, Bruce Campbell, etc.), but the songs, the story structure, character development and how the show expanded more after the movie and before they got married in the 2012 short. That goes for the same thing on Recess, House of Mouse and the rest.
"It all started with a mouse" Technically, it started with Oswald, but that doesn't really count because by boy got drafted to Universal so...yeah, that line was half true.
This was a wonderful tribute to Walt Disney and the company for a whopping century of 💭 and 🪄. But I 🤔 it would have also been nice if they had shown some iconic moments from Disney Television Animation shows e.g. Stan 🤛 Bill, Anne saying GIVE HIM BACK! to fight Andrias in loving memory of Sprig and going Super Saiyan, The Duck triplets reuniting with Della, Lumity💋 etc.
I'd add some older cartoon moments to replace the ones you added. For example, instead of Amphibia, I would add maybe a clip from Phineas and Ferb, Lilo and Stitch the series, Kim Possible, The Proud Family or House of Mouse. Maybe two of these shows could have been added since they had Lizzie McGuire and Hannah Montana represent 2000's Disney Channel live action shows to have a contrast between old and new cartoons.
@@victoriabell9546 I would have also added the parts Olamide Akinola mentioned, plus Bear and Luna from "Bear in the big Blue house" singing the goodbye song, a part of "gitchee gitchee goo" from Phineas and Ferb, a part of the theme song to the Lilo and Stitch series, a part from Little Einsteins when they shout "blast off!", Darkwing Duck saying "let's get dangerous", the final part from the pilot episode of "Chip n Dale: Rescue Rangers", a part of Jack Skellington's "What's this" song from "the nightmare before Christmas" and finally the part from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" where Roger Rabbit, Eddie Valiant and Benny the cab escape from the toon patrol.
WOW!!!🤩🤩 That was awesome!!!😁😁 And now, next year, Warner Bros. Studios' and The Walt Disney Company's 100th anniversary celebration are coming TOGETHER, just like Universal Studios' and Paramount Pictures' 100th anniversary celebration did!!!
OK I am not going to lie but I may have had tears whilst watching this. I love anything and everything to do with disney. It has been such a big part of my life and will continue to be so.....
