I like lamb but the male lamb is gamey and the females are delicious. My mom spent summers in Virginia on her uncles farm (women didn’t get the family home back then unless there weren’t any men). Her mom rented in New York City the rest of the year. During the depression he’d send roasts and other food up there on the train. 11 nieces and nephews too.

So, back to you... Jiko is on the list for every trip. Love the Braised Beef and the Tibrik (don't know if it's still available). Jiko is truly an elegant space with great food and warm welcome. The servers have always been exemplary. My favorite thing I've ever done is the Wanyama Safari, which included wine & appetizers at gathering/intro, then a leisurely ride in one of their specially designed trucks seeing the animals upclose, ending with a family style dinner with all participants (which was an epic onslaught of food available from the menu, including cocktails/ wine with each course. Amazing! (Not sure if that experience is currently available or not. If not, BE ON THE LOOKOUT!) Again, I truly enjoy your warm manner mixed with solid information. Be well. And yes, I did watch it to the end.

Thanks for all your content. I love your reviews and videos. We ate at Jiko and expected a good meal. But, we were surprised to have one of the best meals of our lives. I highly recommend Jiko.

This is our favorite signature restaurant. We have reservations again for arrival night in June

Love your honesty about how you feel about pink steak. My family love it so pink and i cant even look at their plates. I have after 40+ married years have gotten to where i can eat it with a touch of pink. Love watching your reviews.
