Why does Disney need a marketing department when they have Deni?

Hey Deni! I had to come and watch the entire video. I, too, am a "well done" steak lover! I do not care for my meat to still be moo-ing! lol I don't know how you were able to eat that bite of steak! I was feeling your pain, girl! That would have been so hard for me- I am not sure that I could have done it without gagging! Sometimes, if I am out with people that I don't know well (business meals), I refrain from ordering steak because its a little embarrassing to order it well done, but that is how I truly love it! Of course, when I'm with my family I order it well done and don't worry about it. Enjoyed the video as always. Take care!

Back in the olden days, they used to bring a big ole slab of meat to your table and you could tell them how thick you wanted your cut. I'm with you on the well done, I come from a family of restaurateurs and had one chef brother refuse to cook my steak. I've come to be able to eat it sort of medium well, pink but no blood running out. If you are in a good restaurant, you should be able to describe what you want and the chef be able to cook it perfect. Another chef brother always said he made whatever the customer wanted, if they wanted it burned, he burned it the best he could. I would have to ask for a table as far away from the kitchen as possible. Again, family of restaurateurs, I've been in way too many kitchens in my life time, don't need to see what goes on there, know it well.

It’s an acquired taste. Lol love my steak medium. Yachtsman’s is a gem.

We have always enjoyed our meals at Yachtsman. (I’m a rare guy, my boyfriend is medium well!) But our favorite steakhouse on property is Shula’s. Sometimes we even eat there twice per visit, at the beginning and the end of our trip we love it so much. Great review and we are glad to hear you might be trying Shula’s in the future!

Deni….I can remember as a kid watching my grandma shred horseradish from her garden for her beet dressing to slather all over the easter ham. As a kid it killed me, but it didn’t phase her one bit. Now grown up it is in my blood:) love it. How Would you compare this restaurant to topolinos?

The things we do for our children! You're a great mother to take a bite of that still mooing piece of steak! LOL. We were there in February for my birthday and were trying to find a place to have dinner. We ended up at the Grand Floridian Cafe, which I like, but it would be nice to try the Yachtsman Steakhouse at least once! Thanks for the review. I love your reviews because they always so detailed and you describe everything so elegantly.

Deni, The whole meal looked fabulous.I think you did everyone a huge favour by showing just how good a "well done" ( not for me) steak can be. Not a piece of shoe leather. Back in 1976, you could only book upto 30 days in advance at the few ( 6) Elegant Dining restaurants on property. Ladies, Casual evening attire, Gentlemen, Coats, ties and dress shoes, required after 5 p.m. A set gratuity for the meal would be charged. I can't remember if it was 10 or 12%? Cheers, Chris Perry.

What a thorough dining review. We are currently contemplating either The Yatchsman or LeCellier for our steak meal. Although i was leaning towards the later because of the cheese soup and the maple creme brulle, but this video is putting me back on the fence. Def will need to watch some more reviews to help decide.

My wife came from a well-done family. I’m proud to say she now prefers medium-rare on the rare side. Deni, there’s still hope.

Great review Deni! We have eaten at Yachtsman's and enjoyed it but it is very difficult for us to go back with Flying Fish and Shula's in that area which in our opinion are both better and much more consistent for a similar price point. I can see this being an option as something different if we lived there but it doesn't quite make the cut for our yearly vacations.

A "no, thank you" bite - hahahahaha! I order mine medium rare plus and that is pink without being rare or overdone (people overshoot medium all the time). I ended up with a medium rare steak once and several family members ate it for me. FYI, I would help cut that into smaller pieces and treated it like an oyster of the half shell - gulp and gone. I've only done the half shell thing once on a dare and that's the only way I got it down. I've never been to Yachtman as we generally don't dine like that when visiting WDW. But I learn lots to use when I go out to eat in my own area just because of the dishes you discuss. Those brussel sprouts sounded yummy - may have to make a recipe of that! How do you stay so pixie with all these delightful dishes? Also, now we need a cooking with Deni episode featuring Smith Island cake (which I've never heard of but sounds delish!). Another fun time with a friend!

We have stayed at the Beach Club several times but never tried the Yatsman Steakhouse. We will definitely try it next time we are there. Thanks for the review. Great job

Hey Deni! I’ve eaten at Shula’s over at the Dolphin. Yachtsman is on my bucket list tho.

We must’ve sat at the same table. The views were amazing. I know this restaurant hasn’t gotten the love lately but we really enjoyed it and will surely go back again. Thanks for the great review. Glad to see that your channel is growing ! 💖

Great review as always. Will have to put this on my list on my trip in a few weeks. Le cellier, Citricos and California grill are my top 3. My brother in law loves the Crews cup lounge and recently watched the 49ers playoff game on his most recent vacation. He had a fabulous desert at Crews cup, the strawberry shortcake.

I love this place! I've been to Disney three times as an adult and got to eat at Yachtsman two of the three times. The service was amazing and the food was fantastic both times. ❤️ Love the channel Deni! Keep up the good work.

We have been to that restaurant. It was one of the best steaks we had ever eaten. I know your former boss mentioned Shula’s Steakhouse. Will it be better than the Yachtsman Steakhouse? Time will tell. I am a California Native and Resident. We try to get to Disneyworld, Florida once every 5 years. We love the California Grill, Flying Fish and Le Cellier. We were disappointed with the steak at Steakhouse 71. I can’t have medium rare and a medium cooked Steak. I always have my steak medium well.

You’re a braver person than I am....as a fellow “well done” steak eater, I could NEVER have eaten that piece of medium rare meat🤣. We ate at Yachtsman once a long time ago and really enjoyed it.

Really surprised the praise you gave Toledo. We dined there in September for the first time, had a lot of appetizers and main courses. None of us were ‘wowed’. The ambiance was amazing but the food was just good? Anyway, I haven’t been to Yachtsman in about 20 years. Time to go there again!

I like my filet medium...period! Pink not red! Kudos for trying it though!
