I will say In regular times the Ale and Compass breakfast is one of my favourite meals on property. Sadly it doesn’t transfer well as a room service but the usual buffet selection is amazing. Very fresh and having steak and eggs for breakfast was a real treat.
Holy. I know Disney food is expensive, but the price for those individual breakfasts are crazyyy! Jenn's breakfast should have been no more then $15.00, the omelette maybe $17... Kid's breakfast, $8.00-$9.00... I am shook.
Ale and Compass is a pretty up market restaurant. One of the higher tiered places to eat. Sadly this new room service part of it does not transfer well. Usually the buffet breakfast is amazing and well worth the money. Everything from fresh fruit to sushi. I had some amazing steak and eggs there.
Dang, I haven’t paid that much for breakfast since I stayed at the four seasons. And even then it was just like you, just wanted to do it once lol. For science!
Yes, thank you for all your videos but the “visiting the towns around Orlando videos”, have given us more “let’s do that” adventures. We frequent Disney, and have done some of the small towns around Central Florida, as residents around these parts too. However, those are two towns we have always heard about, but never done. Lastly, have you done a video on Bok Tower Gardens, Historic Downtowns of Winter Haven and other small towns near Legoland? So many great things to do in Polk County, especially outdoors, for those guests staying for Legoland.
I’ve never been to Disneyworld but still watch these videos religiously, I wanna go so badly and I love all the tips and tricks along with the honestly on prices and what’s worth it!!
Our grandson had so much fun working through the Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt at EPCOT. He’s nine years old and thought that EPCOT was his favorite park after four days riding rides, enjoying all the attractions. It warmed my heart.
Tim and Jenn, I know you always go to some really fun spots but when you are ready to travel again, you should think about visiting New England with Vermont, Maine and Massachusetts being the highlights. It is a beautiful place for families and lots of history/culture.
I love these long vlogs! Any vlog 20+ minutes from you guys is always very welcomed to me 😂🔥 also that Ariel at 7:12 looks very.... terrifying. Why did they make her look like that LOL
Tim if you have acid reflux while laying down try putting the head of your bed up a few inches and using two pillows to sleep, I have acid reflux myself and I take Prevacid once a day. Here in Canada you need a prescription but I don't know about the States. You might also need to have your big meal (supper) earlier. I would say no later then 5:00 pm. That way you get to digest your meal. (I know you and Jenn like to have supper after Jackson is asleep) as you get older things change LOL. Hope this helps.
$709 a night...hmm I had to back that up and make sure I heard that right. And with a discount too! That's crazy to me but glad you guys can enjoy that. I do like that you guys still know that's expensive to us regular people lol
I saw this on the food network, a macaroon is a coconut wiped cookie and a macaron is 2 cookies with footing on the edges they are held together with a soft frosting in the center. It drives me crazy when I go into bakeries and tehy advertise their macarons as macaroons.
The Market at Ale & Compass used to be called Fittings & Fairings Clothes and Notions. They changed the name a couple of years ago. Disney is notorious with renaming locations. Fingers crossed for heading to the pools before you check out.
The area on the cruise ship where you said the beds were, is actually a bar and outdoor dance floor for crew members. We used to go up there a few times a week after midnight
I think they have wanted him to have one for a little while .. they are holding out hope that the barbers on Main Street in magic kingdom will open soon so his first hair cut will be in there 🙂.x
I love how when you guys show us something and zoom in you both duck to the sides lol 😂 and Jackson.... your cute little responses to mom...”I’m good” lol sweetest
Jackson is the smiley-est kid I have ever seen. I’m aware he’s probably not this way every waking moment of the day, especially on a trip, but based on the majority of him that we see in the vlogs he is such a flexible, go-with-the-flow kinda guy and I absolutely adore him! X
I always found the easiest way to tell the difference between a macaron and a macaroon is that a macaroon is like a tiny cake and a macaron is like a soft sandwich cookie.
All Boardwalk Hotels are the best to stay at. The convenience of walking into Epcot is fabulous. Hollywood Studios is also a pleasant walk. We favor the Boardwalk Inn and have stayed every Easter break for many years until covid. Enjoy the rest of your stay. Can’t wait to get back there!!
What a beautiful resort!!! I love the Flower and Garden Festival ❤️🌸 So awesome to be able to go on these awesome staycations! Huge hugs and love to you guys xoxo
We stayed at the Yacht Club for our Dec 2019 trip and this brought back some fond memories! Love the Ale & Compass lounge and the quick walk to EPCOT (& Hollywood Studios for Rise) was unbeatable! Really nice atmosphere :)
Spool happy you liked Spice Road! The food is always excellent overlooked by so many visitors. It's such a great way to have tasty bite of a lot of different things. And the cocktails are awesome 😊!!!
Your staycations & Disney springs days are my fav! That hotel is mighty expensive & the breakfast cost 😱 but thanks for trying it so we could see what u got 👍 enjoy ur break! X
Uniqlo really is the coolest/cheapest/ and best quality on Disney property. A great edition to Disney Springs thus far. Last trip I bought a shirt there and wore it to MK and a CM at Pesos Bills asked where I got it bc she had never seen it before and said she LOVED it. Such a sweet magical memory. Its so funny how something as small as a shirt can bring so much magic in the happiest place on earth 💕
I stayed at the Yacht and Beach club pre-covid (not sure which I was younger) but we had an amazing room on the ground floor where you opened the door and were practically on the bridge to go to Epcot, it was amazing. The boardwalk was also great, we would always stop at the bakery there, and of course pre-covid there were a lot of things happening there, not sure if that's still the case.
I love watching your videos. I love when you review hotels / resorts. I like hotels myself even though I don’t visit hotels that often but it’s fun to watch you visit them and review them. Nice family 👍🏽🥰
I could stay 4 nights at Floridays resort Orlando with suite accommodations, full kitchen, washer and dryer and multiple bedrooms for what they charge for 1 night there. Love the videos though! Jackson is the cutest ever! I miss Orlando so much!
Beach Club is modeled after Cape May, NJ ... and our home resort and can’t wait to be there in a couple months! Thanks for this video, it’s got be so excited for my upcoming trip. It’s been too long!
That was so cool to see Martha’s Vineyard and Ariel’s because those were my pre reception/reception venues for my Disney wedding in 2018!! I miss Disney 💜💜
I agree with you Tim. Ten dollars for a red solo cup with an Epcot design is ridiculous! They could have made ceramic cups for that price. Loving your resort tours, We loved staying at the Boardwalk Villas, so close to Epcot and HollywoodStudios.
Take it from a French person: macarons are the ones that look like the ones you ate (little round sandwiches filled with cream) and macaroons are the almost dome shaped cookie ones usually almond or coconut based (no filling).
That’s why we stay at the beach club. The beds!! We even bought the exact same mattress for our home too! 👍. We love the in room dining there at beach club too! We usually do two or three dinners bc it’s easier sometimes! 👍
Jenn looks so gorgeous!!! I love her dress and Mickey ears!!! Also Jackson is the cutest awww!!! Those Easter treats look so delish too!!! I would def try the Robin Egg cookies they looked so good!!! I also love the Easter Egg hunt and the prizes that's super fun and nice!!! I also love Tim's shirt!!!
I have to try Spice Road Table, everything looks delicious. I am a DVC Member and I have not been to Beach Club yet. It books up quickly. And Tim, your not old. Wait till your over 50! Lol! Thanks for taking Me a long. 😎👍🏻
