Oh man we definitely learned a tough lesson at Disney haha! They kept telling us to stop running too and we were like no we’re going to miss the transfer haha! We were so happy we got to see the animals! And how cool was the giraffe laying down!? They don’t do it often! Haha you and me both, not runners unless it’s an emergency! As a Floridian, Disney is something to do on a different vacation!!! Not a port shore excursion type of activity by any means!!! Glad you made it back to the ship though 😱😰

I give you both big props for that crazy adventure. As a Disney pro, even I wouldn’t have had the guts to risk it. Doesn’t mean much now, but if you are heading to Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios and get dropped off at Magic Kingdoms parking lot, walk over to the Polynesian rather than taking the monorail. It’s about a 5 min walk along the path to their bus stops. Also the Tree of Life is not the tree from Avatar although it seems very similar. The Tree of Life debuted when the park opened in 1998. It’s actually an old oil rig underneath and imagineers hand carved over 300 animals to create the bark and handcrafted all the leaves. There is also a theater inside the tree. That’s a little Disney nerd trivia for you. Glad you made it back to the ship. My husband and I were on the sailing after you.

My wife spoke to the head of the dining room thru guest services and got a “bagged” lunch for Coco Cay and the chef on the island meet her and went over what was gluten free for her.

Wow I can’t believe that they have Disney as a shore excursion and offer such a thing. You guys Rocked it out a always. Im glad you both made the best of it and made it back on time. Another great production! Kudos to you both as usual! During your last video you mentioned you were going to do Disney from the cruise ship. I almost wrote to tell you the horror stories I had heard in regard to the distance and time challenges involved. The upside is you did get to sample the Magic Kingdom AND you actually videoed your version of being Pier Runners! Not just the run of the mill runners either, you guys took it to a whole new level, tram running, ferry running bus running and pier running! A documentary on how to do it! Certainly no one wants to go through that, but you provided us with very good tips on how to attempt to recover from the emergency. Take the proper phone number(s) with you and make the appropriate calls in a timely manner! Great job running Kala! LOL! If you see me running, you should probably call the police and try to keep up with me! I am not running unless the guano has truly hit the fan! In about 4 weeks I will be on a cruise that stops in Miami. I am going to do a Hop-on Hop-off bus to tour the area. I should have enough time to get that done without any trauma or running! Looking forward to your next chapter of your wonderful adventures! You guys are awesome! 😎😎😎 - PS - I can't recall if I have ever seen such a good picture of a giraffe laying down! I know the animals lay down, but we rarely see them in that position. Horses lay down but you have to be around them a lot to see them relax like that. Cows? Anyway, great shots and video and commentary of the adventure!

As a FL native Disney on a normal local day can be stressful! I can’t even imagine trying to squeeze a park in as a shore excursion!!😢 No time to actually enjoy the park.

Oh my goodness, so many thoughts on this day! Park Cafe - Did you visit at lunch at some point? They have amazing, made to order salads in these large bowls, super good. Disney - it’s our second home, full disclosure, lol. Love it as much as cruising. I feel like Royal should drop you off to the park of your choice, not TTC! Honestly, I know that it doesn’t help you now, but taking Lyft or Uber would have probably worked better. Even taking the cruise transportation to the drop off location but then taking Uber once on Disney property. The Disney transportation is great, but takes a long time, especially to Animal Kingdom. We often take an Uber to the parks, even when staying on property, and the cost is about $8 and takes a few min. This is not to criticize you guys at all, I think you made the best of it & absolutely chose the best attractions. FOP is everything. Kilimanjaro Safari is also amazing, have to do it every trip. Hope you get to go back one day to experience more. AK also has great food, including our fav Nomad Lounge with amazing drinks. We are very tempted to do this same cruise next summer from NYC (on Symphony) but the time in Orlando is not ideal for sure. Anyway - despite it being a little stressful, this day was amazing & thank you so much for sharing!

I think that if Cruise ships are going to have Disney as a port stop then the ship should at least spend one night there so that cruisers have enough time to enjoy. I was stressed watching you guys😩

Just got of Wonder and that Park Cafe had a couple of gluten free options everyday!

No close calls. But anything as Disney world takes longer then u think. Been there many many times But good you made it back. 🎉

Since you both love cruising as much as we do, check out NCL. We did our first NCL cruise this year to South Africa and Namibia this year. Definitely make that dream trip a reality!

I'm sorry you had to go through this but I'm glad I was able to actually see what this would take to do this. I really wanted to check out animal Kingdom. We are actually coming in to FLA on our cruise earlier (7am-6pm) but i still think Animal Kingdom will be a little too much to get to. We may try EPCOT or Universal instead.
