That oceanview category is not the cheapest concierge option, it is one above the cheapest which is a regular concierge verandah room! We got this category for our wedding cruise this coming March and I'm so excited for it! We were also able to get 4 cabanas for us and our guests since some of them are in concierge as well. Thank you for this video! It gets me more excited!
So for a family of 4 we got a concierge room (verandah) on Treasure next year for a little under $14k. Still ton of money but they flex their prices based on week so if you can be flexible with schedule/school you can get it for a more "reasonable" rate.
Hi, we sailed on the same cruise and my family was in your video. We were part of a wedding (ceremony was 1:00 on Nassau day). We were conceirage too. I was blown away by the service and we’ve travelled to a lot of super fancy places. We had 3 cabanas but farther away from you guys. Awesome cruise. It was a wedding, family reunion and super fancy vacation wrapped up into one.
That looked like a lot of fun. I’ve never done a Disney Cruise just bc of how expensive they are, but I’ve never seen a bad review on them. I’ll just stick to my 2 hour drive to the parks with my annual pass. Glad yall had fun!
Great video! This will be our 3rd Disney cruise and our first time in concierge on the Wish in November. Thank you for the drink heads up in the lounge! We are definitely hoping to score a cabana, definitely looks worth it.
This popped up for me and I smiled, and then I smiled some more when Dan said y'all were being bougie, and I smiled even more when Leslie's face lit up with excitement heading to paradise!! 😍 I seriously adore you and the content you share!! The best!!
Thanks I’m leaning towards a cruise but not sure with the toddler we re ready for that. We do Disney parks a few times so was thinking maybe combo trip. Appreciate you mentioning not doing if not previously on cruise
I can’t wait for the newest cruise ship Disney adventure I hope they go all out and put a Dave and busters on there plus they should do some black panther wakanda forever themed rooms on there too
Great video! I know you like to keep your videos short but we would’ve loved to see so much more. We have cabana #4 booked on our upcoming sailing as well as an Oceanview concierge room so this video was tailored-made for us 😅. Glad you guys had a blast!
Hello! I heard what you said at the end about first time cruisers. I’m looking into a 4 night cruise on the Wish with my toddler. It would be our first time cruising however, I worked on the Fantasy a few years ago so I’m familiar (to some extent). My question is, with the perks of embarking early/ease of embarking, priority seating, early reservation, and continental breakfast be worth it for my parents, toddler, and I? I really don’t want to miss out on ship stuff so I wouldn’t plan on spending too much time in the lounge but would definitely take advantage of those other perks I listed.
I just went on the wish (not concierge) and I was able to request “close to entertainment” as part of our pre booking process when we put it for special requests/dinner time so that’s not just a concierge perk. We got a table literally right by the stage.
You are treating this the same way we treated our 1 night at AKL club. Checked in at 9 am and left 4 pm the next day. Only time we left the lounge was to eat at the app prep counter Cooking Place at Jikos. Otherwise it was lounge and an endless supply of S African wine.
Mmm. I love your restaurant reviews! You both seem so honest and real, and I always enjoy watching them. But this seemed a little different. I’m surprised you paid more than 700.00 for a cabana and gave it a rave? Doesn’t seem like you two. Was this cruise subsidized or paid for by Disney? Which is cool. But please be upfront about it.
Nope, we paid for the whole thing. If we are given anything, we are 100% upfront about it. Not sure why it surprises you. We thought the $1000 meal at Victoria and Albert’s was amazing and worth it. It’s not something we would do frequently, but it’s not just about cost. It is about value.
I have never felt the cost of concierge on Disney was worth the price and this confirms it. I'll throw this out to you though. Try the Haven on NCL - not an older ship - but a Breakaway and later class. That blows Disney out of the water. The best food and bar service we've ever had on a cruise ship was on the NCL Joy in the Haven.
We’ve come close to booking the Haven a couple times on a newer ship. We weren’t blown away by it on the Jewel back in 2018, but I’m sure it’s much better on the newer ones
I don’t really see the value in concierge class on Disney. We could easily sail in concierge class but at almost double the price of a veranda room and no concierge only dining room I don’t see the value. I would rather save the money and use the money saved for another week of vacation travel.
So thank you this was very informative and wonderfully “boujie” lol! But I have to ask for the price of what you pay- I know you break it down if it’s worth it. But are alcoholic drinks included with concierge? Bc I’m having a hard time finding what really more you get other than the offer to spend an extra $700 on a cabana lol! I don’t mean that to sound negative, just trying to see what really is extra special about concierge. You get the lounge but it looks just like a buffet which you can already get on the ship. Just different area to sit for it I guess? Idk! Curious if you’d do it again! I feel like if I paid that price I’d be chained to everything concierge and wouldn’t venture out to the rest of the ship!
@@AddictedtotheMouse I actually did already, I listened to it a couple days before I watched the video but I don’t remember if you said that alcohol was included lol
