I appreciate these videos so I could see what to expect if traveling to the area, with kids, and how Disney would keep everyone safe! Great videos. Thanks
Very interesting to see y’all out and about on Thursday morning when over here on the coast in Daytona we were just starting to really get hit around 8am Thursday and it didn’t let up until 11pm that night. Thankful to have had a stay already planned for EPCOT’s 40th and now as of Friday we are here at WDW in a non-flooded hotel with power. AC and running water. See you tmrw!
That indeed was pretty nice of Disney to to do that for those employees! I believe they always keep 2 monorail in Contemporary over night, I also think they keep 2 or 3 in the monorail barn, i am not sure where they over night the 2 epcot ones. I love love those lights under those monorails I hope they keep them on them. Glad your vehicle was good, hope your parents home was good too. Those folks in Fort Myers man I feel for them, I know a doctor that was our chief medical director for the Hospice I use to work for, he retired a few years ago and moved down there, hoping he is ok. Hope you have a great day on the 1st for epcots 40th
Adam glad you were able to get out and do some things because like you once said your not the type of guy who likes to sit around you said you always like to be doing something and even though this was a relaxing video I really enjoyed it also I loved the food you guys got I haven’t had anything like that in a long time and boy it all looked like some tasty goodness anyways thanks for showing me some of Florida after a hurricane and I so hope if you can do it safely I hope you document more of the aftermath of the hurricane I think it would be quite interesting now I want to send my thoughts and prayers to everyone affected by this now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next vlog adventure wherever it takes you peace ☮️ out ✌️
I’m in Cape Coral where the eye wall passed. Like a war zone here and I was happy to be able to watch as they provide some comfort in these very bleak days. It is really bad here, and I was lucky to still have a place to live after the storm passed.
The roundhouse is where you would turn a train around it's built in a circle with tracks in it so like a clock you can move the train to whatever position you needed for a track. The monorails I believe it's called the maintenance sheds or maintenance garage
I've been repping windbreakers for like 5 years, since my visit to wdw in 2017. They keep u warm even tho they're thin! I do love the one u bought!🤗👍✌️🕺
Great videos on the Contemporary! I’ve never been inside before so it was fun to see all of the intricacies! Glad to hear that you and your family are safe!
What a unique experience! These past two days were some of the most interesting vlogs you’ve done. Rarified air there. I love the concept art at Steakhouse 71.
Great times at Disney! Our first trip in 1995 was right before Hurricane Erin. Parks were delayed opening till about 3 pm. Ir came right over WDW at night and mid day. It was scary.
My family and I stayed at the Contemporary back in June if this year and absolutely loved it. We had a room on the top floor over looking Magic Kingdom. Had a great view of the firework show and the music to the show is played on the tv in real time. Watching this I kept thinking “I was right there, and there and there also”. Thank you Adam. I live in Southern Calif and visit Disneyland all the time but WDW, I’m sorry to say is way better.
Thanks for sharing Adam. I would have felt safe there too. Kudos to the Cast members that worked during lockdown to keep guests entertained, dry, and safe.
Hello Adam, glad that we all made it through!!! I live in Punta Gorda, FL. The hurricane 🌀 made landfall 6 miles south of my home. Finally my cell phone is working. Still no power or water. Stay safe!
@@Aviator1047 you are very welcome, wishing your power is restored soon. Tuesday night in SE Florida we had a few tornadoes in Palm Beach Co. and Broward Co. But nothing like what our W coast neighbors experienced.😢
That was a nice experience, having the Steakhouse 71 dining room to yourselves. And those lights beneath the monorails are so great. Hope they remain after the Celebration.
Hey Adam! I saw some footage from WDW. Good call riding it out there. Disney did a great job for the guests and the CM’s working. Special thanks to all those CMs who opted to take on those shifts.
Nice rain jacket! Thank you so much for updating us & letting us know you are okay, & safe. The hamburger looked delicious! I'm off to get me "1" too later. Yours looked that good. Love the dinning room theme too. So wonderful Disney takes good care of its employees & their visitors. God Bless them!
Hi Adam 👋. Glad you are ok after the hurricane. I'm very concerned about Gatorland. I just want to send my thoughts, prayers and condolences to those that have been lost to the hurricane. Sending much love and support from the UK 🇬🇧🙏.
Nice to see things are mellowing out due to the hurricane and looking forward to seeing the parks reopening Friday! Steakhouse 71 always a great choice one of my favs!
The storm is now in north Carolina I'm in Louisville Kentucky it was so dark this morning that it didn't get kind of sunny or more sun light until about 9:00 a.m. that's from the hurricane that still coming up the states. Glade your safe Adam and so is your friend, take care man.🙂👍🌀🙏
Some people have been commenting about the choice not to build Disney on a coast but rather central Florida- along with the cheaper cost. It was a good call for lots of reasons.
Hi Adam 👋 we are in Virginia and it is about to jump on us with a bunch on rain from today til Monday 😳 we live by the river so 4 inches of rain will definitely be a hot mess 😀 🚣♂️
@@rogertaylor7433 I grew up in NVA, but I live down on the Rappahannock in Fredericksburg now. Please do stay safe up there. You have such low sea walls there ❤ I mean... and when the bay gets angry... everything gets angry lol 😆
@@rogertaylor7433 well... they got the bright idea to explode the dam and, "let it run free" down here 😳 now when we get a ton of rain it floods Old Mill Park so bad in Old Town that the water covers the restrooms and you can't see the rooves ! Then there is the debris problem as well. It's truly a beautiful river, it gets angry in a hurry though. As for the Potomac, my son and I Bass fish there a lot ❤ I have been fishing on the James, Chickahominy, Po, Matta, Ni, Occoquan, Rappahannock. There are so many great ones here in VA, but we are about to move to Florida ❤
@@lisadodson-newton8525 ...that's a major positive!!! The Occoquan River is one of the best for catching fish...and because of their filtering program, they have very tasty fish 🐟 😋. The Chesapeake River has really good seafood in general. The Blue Crabs 🦀, Shrimp 🍤, and all variety of fish taste deeeeelicious !!!! I hope you have a good day 😊, and take care....Blessings!!!
praying for the Floridians ... and praying for us South Carolinians and others that have and will be in the paths of Ian it's getting very scary here now in South Carolina it's really dark, very very windy, and raining im in a dag bum 1999 mobile home and my back porch metal roof has already blown one side of the metal up and bent it back but it's still holding on by a few screws and I gotta feeling my front door is gonna blow wide open even with the deadbolt and regular door lock engaged... God please please keep us all safe and alive and the fur babies and the other animals safe and out of the elements 🌀...🙏🏼🌪☔🌬🌫🌨🌩🌪⛈⚡💧🌈🌊🌈🌈🌈🌈
Praying for the Carolinas today, our neice lives in Ft.Myers and grateful that they only lost a carport, she reports more had it much worse there, especially close to the coast
Prayers for you 🙏 I'm a veteran of Katrina and many others. I now live in Georgia and thought we were going to catch Ian. I know how you are feeling and my heart goes out to you.
Me and my family watch your channel ALL THE time and we are so glad you’re safe! My kids came home from school yesterday (were in the UK) and the first thing they did was to watch your video and were just in awe of the very quiet Contemporary Resort! We have been back from Disney 2 weeks now (first visit) and we miss it and the cast members so much…so glad Disney are looking after them so well in all this! Take care 👍🏻
I watch all your videos thanks for all you do ...I appreciate your update on Disney...I have family really close to there . Keep up the good work and videos .
Glad everyone made it through! Also did not know about the Nixon trivia, that's so cool! I love how you share little known facts about areas. Means I learned something new today!
That is a really nice story hearing how Disney is paying it's cast members around the clock......I only like going to reputable places that endeavour to take care of their staff.......And thanks for the info about Richard Nixon and his famous room.
So pleased that your all ok, we feel very sad for the people in other places that have been affected negatively form the Hurricane, we're lucky in the UK we don't experience them, also can I just say your friend looks like Ryan Hurst (Opie from SOA), that's a good thing lol xx
Thank you for sharing your experience. There is so much to do there without even going to the parks! Hope you do more of these once it cools down in Florida. Really fun to watch.
Glad you had a different time at Disney. Hurricane was devastating for alot of people and my heart goes out to them. I was lucky that it changed its course but I've been through alot. God Bless those still waiting for Ian to pass them. Adam thanks for sharing behind the scenes and employees still on the jobs. Making dreams ✨️ at Disney.
