Stayed at Caribbean Beach May 2022 in the Aruba complex right next to the Riviera skyliner station which was absolutely brilliant for getting too Epcot and Hollywood Studios, about a 10 minute stroll to main reception, not a problem for us and we are early sixties, especially as the walk is around the lake and the scenery and wildlife is so beautiful. Each village is served by an internal bus service and the buses from the parks will drop you off at your village so just a short walk back to your room although we usually got off at Port Royale main reception and walked the 10 mins back to our room as.it was so nice. Try Sebastians bistro really enjoyed the food especially the bread pudding and at 29 dollars well.worth it for bread service, starter, main and pudding as an all you care to enjoy meal.

I have stayed at Disney Caribean Beach - I thought it was a huge hotel lots of walking which caused me problems with the walking you do in the park . Although would love the sky liner .. not my favourite . My favourite is port Orleans French quarters ❤️❤️xx

I also cannot agree more on the steam pods, when we logged our trip in May 2021 and tried them on camera, I didn't know how to react but they taste IDENTICAL to a cheeseburger from McDonalds!!

Been watching your Disney vlogs and they've been amazing!! Going back to the question on people just starting vlogging, camera wise are you better using a GoPro to start with which can cover water parks also or the canon g7? I'm a little torn on which to go for

We nearly always stay at the Caribbean Beach, requesting Jamaica section block 41 or 42 which is near the skyliner main station and short walk to spyglass grill quick service in Trinidad section (prefer food there than at main food court) enjoy your trip Gareth!

You can't pool hop in any of the resort pools. The only resorts that allow pool sharing are the Port Orleans Riverside and Port Orleans French Quarter. They can both use each other's pools. But since Covid, no other resorts allow pool hopping at all. Not even DVC resorts allow it at this time.

Monzo is a Bank Account, subject to a credit check. Worth pointing that out. There’s various cards you can use without foreign transaction fees. Starling, Monzo, Revolut and Wise.

Hi guys! I’ve absolutely loved watching your holiday vlogs. I stayed in Caribbean beach back in 2019, and happened to be placed in one of the furthest away rooms from the front of the hotel. I would say it’s about a 5-10 min walk to the lobby at worst, but I personally didn’t find that to be off putting. It’s a beautiful resort to walk through and admire 💕 We also took Ubers to travel off-site and I believe they’re able to pick up/drop you off around the back of the hotel at certain points, on the road that runs around the perimeter of the grounds. Additionally, if walking is an issue you may be able to request a closer room by contacting the hotel in advance (which they don’t have to honour), but Disney may able to accommodate you? It’s definitely worth a try ☺️

Going back in January 2023 (Carribean Beach) but first time with our children - really good vlogs - you did loads which is fab!! In relation to equipment you use - do you use an external mic - and do you use the same camera for water rides etc? Cheers - keep up the great work!

If you stay at the swan or dolphin it is almost like being on site (near boardwalk) and you get the perk like you are staying at a deluxe Disney hotel

1 have a 10 day ticket starting in 9 days (like you, I was supposed to go in 2020). I tend to book two or three parks and then a 'rest day' for shopping, or pool etc. And I tend to rotate parks. I do 3 days each MK and HS and two days each Epcot and AK. I'm Australian and I use a Qantas Mastercard. You can put money onto the card in a number of currencies. The bonus is... I get Qantas Frequent Flyer points from using it too. I don't know about in UK, but I also let my Australian bank know that I will be out of the country, in case I need to use it while I am away. That way they will know that it isn't a 'fraudulent' transaction and decline it.

Love your vlogs and we have been four times and we are going in two years, we have been with Thomas Cook & virgin & virgin have always been our first choice, and when we go back it will be with virgin. It’s going to be the first time I have had to use my wheelchair, my wife is such a great planner that I think she has already started. Is genie any good? We were used to the old style. Rich

I’m going to my first Disney World holiday next month and I have NO clue what to wear on my feet 🤣 I’ve been told by people in my family who have been to not wear sandals or flip flops or sliders because you’ll get blisters etc whereas in your videos and some other people I’ve seen you wear them to the parks, are they okay to wear? I will hate wearing socks and trainers in that heat 🥵🥲 so I would prefer to wear sliders, sandals etc but just wondering if they’re suitable and what it was like for you guys to wear them at a full day in the parks? 💛 xxx

Just to note, you can book park reservations as soon as you have your tickets and dining is 60 days out.

Do you use the internal microphone on your canon camera? Or have a muff on it?

If you staying on property and parking, you do not need to pay to park at the parks.
