"This here, is the wildest ride in the wilderness" Check out this Complete Experience of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Watch in HD. Video contains line,Pov, and off ride segments.
I took my daughter on this ride, it wasn't raining, it wasn't morning or evening, and we didn't have any fastpasses. The line was no longer than 2 minutes!! This is an awesome ride. :)
I remember when this first opened! We were some of the first people they let on, before it actually opened, they were letting people in to try it, so fun!
This is a true story. So, me, my sis, and my dad walked into the fastpass line for this ride, and almost instantly got onto the ride. We rode it, and had a blast. When we got off, the regular line's wait said only 20 minutes. So, we decided to go again. Once we got up to the part were they scan your little band, I noticed the man that scanned it for you was passing something out to the people in line. When we got scanned, the man asked us if we like this ride. We said yes, and then he gave us *3 free fastpasses for the ride, for three!* After finishing the ride again, our dad decided to not go again. So, that left me and my sister to go on this ride 3 more times, instantly, for free. I love this ride, and I will never forget that nice man.
My parent tricked me on this ride when i was 5 and i was screaming my head off when i went on and I've been terrified of roller coasters since then so now I realize that the only way to get over my fear of roller coasters I to go on the one that STARTED my fear of roller coasters and now that I watch this it doesn't seem so bad at all :) going to Disney in october so wish me luck! :)
well just the one that I know of, and that was nine years ago now. it's very safe. for the amount of people that visit Disneyland, they have one of the best safety records of any park ever.
Unfortunately, this doesn't capture the complete majesty of the ride. It isn't just the view of the ride that makes it so magical, its the ride, the ambient view, even just the wow factor that "wow, I'm actually in Disneyland". Excellent video, but can only watch this video once in a while, whereas I could ride this ride a dozen times in Disneyland and not get bored.
love this coaster , it's alota fun ! but i hate how i can never FULLY enjoy my time whenever i get on it 'cause i always think about the 2003 incident when that man died :( it never fails to cross my mind especially on the sharp turns !
OMG! The music addition on the end, was that from the track from the Remember....Dreams Come True fireworks spectacular from about 2008? I have that album and I love the whole track, how practically all the rides are featured during it. :) That made the whole experience twenty times better! :P
I could never go on roller coasters due to my leukemia as a kid,but my first roller coaster when the doctors gave me to OK to go on rides,God I had a pass due to Make A Wish and I rode it 3 times in a row,God i laughed so much :)
Ok serious mode for a moment When I was around 7 maybe 5 I rode it big thunder mountain and I was kinda bumpy for me but when they referenced the ride it felt more smooth and felt better so I'm starting to enjoy this ride!
This ride is a LOT better if you're in the back. The back has to catch up with the front before the wild parts start, so if you're in the back, it's a lot better.
I LOVE this ride!!!!! My favorite of all in Disneyland! I remember the time when I first went on the ride and my hat almost fell off because of the speed. Say, did they make the ride longer? I noticed it didn't take as much time as it did previously- or is it me?
