Disney has left a bad taste in my mouth for years, but I gotta say...this stroll thru Disneyland brings back lots of great memories. Started going there in the days of the "E" tickets, and it was such a fantastic place for the first few decades.
We always ate at Tortilla Joes too. We used to eat at the Mexican Restaurant next to Thunder Mountain even before it was that train ride and it was sponsored by Fritos, “Send down another (whatever - it was a long time ago) and a small bag of corn chips would come down the shute with the big statue of Frito Bandito saying it. Got a fake coin to put in box to start it then some short years later you put in your own nickel to get them. They also had the donkey ride where you got on them in front of the little houses you still see them just before you make the right turn into the station. The ticket books back then were $3.75.
The sceaming people riding with you was funny af 😂 Also with security, if its the same as the one in Universal orlando, then I prefer that one than the one in WDW. I've had so many problems with the WDW one, dont get me wrong when it works, its easy, but when they push you aside for further inspection, then it wastes more time.
Why? Tattoos are disgusting You know in nature, most venomous/poisonous creatures have bright colors or distinct markings to let you know they are dangerous. Subconsciously, most tattoo wearers are doing the same thing
We went in 2022 and pirates was closed, that was a bummer. Was on it wayyy back in 94 when I went with my church youth group. Cool video met David when he came to wdw and his wife. Nice people. Btw the train there is pretty cool I like to views from it. Be well!
I've never been to Disneyland or rode the Matterhorn. But riding it that time would have been horrible in my book. I can't imagine that it needed all those screams. That part of the video was kind of tough to watch, ng.

Unfortunately, most of the work won't be finished by then. Haunted Mansion should be open in August for Halloween time. TBA should be open by September or October, as well as Critter Country. HOPEFULLY! Hello From Phoenix Arizona 🌡 🔥

Hello Adam. Very nice to see you back in Disneyland. It really Has Been awhile since you were here! Many changes happening. Hopefully you will be here August 12,2024 at DCA! Our Magic Key is blocked out until August. We did get a regular ticket/reservation for next Wednesday, June 12, so it wouldn’t be so long between visits! Even with the walls, Disneyland still has a nice "better things are on the way" vibe. And I liked the way the park incorporated Magicband interaction into the walls. It's those little touches that really make Disneyland something special.

I love SoCal for sure. I’m happy with my purchase tho in celebration. Easy to hop a plane and go coast to coast. I predict in the future each year I’ll be in LA most summers , cause Florida is brutal in those times.
@@TheDailyWooNo doubt! Its my first June visiting my place in Winter Haven, and it is sooo hot! My car showed 105 the other day!! Of course this is exactly why I will be a snowbird and go back "north" after winter 24-25, although it is nice down here right now because the stores, restaurants, and roads aren't packed with the snowbirds gone..😂
They use every inch of available space at Disneyland. They have to. The Alice ride piggybacks onto the toad ride. How cozy. Disneyland is a design phenomenon.
I appreciate the honesty by you about getting your 'spine realigned' on MH and that Nightmare Before overlay basically 'sucks'- my words not yours- but still. Ghost Galaxy was also beyond stupid- why are there ghosts in space? It makes no sense even within the paradigm of 'willful suspension of disbelief'. Love Disney but cmon guys! Unfortunetly my take on it is that all this 'dreck' is for passholders cause it does nothing for people who only get to visit, maybe once in their life- or maybe only a few times.
Fun fact: It takes the steam engine trains about 30 gallons of water for one loop around Disneyland. Source: I just asked as they were refilling E.P. 🙃
Loved your video today. You mentioned Dale Hennesy. I’m am friends with his grandson Sean Hennesy. Sean is a former guitarist for the band Candlebox. Sean’s dad who is Dale’s son also worked for Disney. Sean and his dad now lives in Salt Lake City. Sean just finished a production of “May We All” at Hale Center Theater where he played the guitar. Keep the good content coming.

Rope Drop you have to be in the parking structure at 6am because by the time you park then get trough security 2 hours can pass. 16:33 is just wild that two rides in this area been close an Pirates been getting slammed to hold the crowds. I always wanted to get the Flag take down ceremony check it out next time around 5pm!
Years ago Magic Key Club was a discount card people would get from their employers that got them a discounted admission to Disneyland. Sometimes they also had Magic Key ticket books. A Magic Key ticket could get you on any ride A-E.

They have the old rocket on your orange shirt. Used to be before the Matterhorn it was the first one who spotted that who won (nothing by the way). The ride under that was soooo boring. Black and white video of taking off looking down at the takeoff, kind of like that new space restaurant in EPCOT but it’s way better.
Adam, when you do come back to Disneyland, hopefully you can time it when construction is over. That’ll be an awesome rope drop to see everything finished.
