What are your thoughts on Superstar Saga? Do you like it, hate it, or just think it's okay? And if you've played both, which version do you prefer? GBA or 3DS? Edit: In case anyone's wondering, DT refers to Fawful's Minion by his real name just because it's easier than saying Fawful's Minion repeatedly.
Ok genius, the difference between Bowletta and Bowsette is that one is a freakish abomination that just adds female parts to Bowser's Normal Body, the other is a transformation with the Super Crown that turns Bowser into a hot anime girl.
Is your point that Tony is exaggerating more than he's supposed to by mentioning Bowsette when she's FAR worse than Bowletta or that he's exaggerating because he's making Bowsette seem worse than Bowletta's design? Just asking out of confusion. I can understand if it's the first one, but I *just hope* it's not the second one.
@@DrSmug-yj9ot -__- I would have preferred the first one… Hint: I say this because, speaking for myself, I LOATHE the concept of "Bowsette". In short, the Super Crown was a mistake.
1:42 - 1:55 I'd just like to point out that's Italian Gibberish, not actual Italian. Really, I have met several Italians in a Mario and Luigi speaking "Italian" video and even they have confirmed that, so I think this sin does apply. 0:46 - 10:55 True, but wouldn't these guys though? I mean like, E. Gadd, you know, the guy who helped Luigi on that game just happens to own a Starbucks Cafe in this kingdom, which by the way, still keeps being visited by the same ghosts from the said game, so there's no excuse for these guys not acknowledging Luigi.
@@antasman6423 that’s exactly the point. He was the one who stole peaches voice, he was the one who gave cackletta a new body, hes the one who made the machines. What did cackletta do? NOTHING. At first hes loyal but in the second fight his dialogue before the fight mentions him realizing that hes purely been a pawn the whole time. Cackletta without Fawful, is completely useless. So thats why Fawful decides to be his own villain
18:15 No he meant fighting over it literally as in, they were kind enough to move the star so it doesnt break which is the only time both are considerate literally fighting over it means fighting ABOVE the star so his point still stands
My god the voice change you do is hilarious Edit: shit I didn't know the lore that you were 2 different people (like Nathaniel and bathaniel bandy) my bad
the problem with the Cackletta's soul fight is not because its difficult, its because it was a difficulty spike compared to the rest of the game so someone going in blind wouldn't be prepared for it.
@@zenchantrelle9779 Yes, it absolutely does! He proceeds to hate Chariii through the whole video, and I even made a whole CinemaSins in my next comment.
@@furret1907 ok his video has flaws he has done so much to prove he does not hate Chariii5: he made a video saying what he really likes about Charii he apolgized to Charii for any harm he thinks he caused for him and threaten to ban any of his subscribers if they shitted on him like with threats and hate. Criticize his video all you want he doesn't have a grudge against Charii nor does want anything bad to happen him.
Just to let you all know, Sprite actually made a commercial with a joke drink called "Granola Cola"; that's probably how this game's devs came up with that joke. XD
I like this video, it's an interesting way to look and critique another video. Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga is an interesting one to me, I didn't play the original but I played the remakes. I liked it, but I weirdly have way more time played in Bowser's Minions. But I had to play this game, it introduced Fawful, one of my favorite villains ever. (Sorry that this is kinda long.)
I like how the disclaimer says your goal here is to "correct" Charrii's mistakes, but most of your sins are just blatant disrespectful comments towards him, sometimes straight up insults. Besides, if the deeper voice is meant to be funny, ouch. Just ouch.
Awesome video bro! You know I wonder why after this game Mario hardly use his pyrokinisis/fire magic and why Luigi almost never uses his lightning powers after this too.
Uhhh, WHERE the heck did Tony say that it's a joke? The disclaimer CLEARLY says "I don't hate Chariii5." Yeah... I call bullshit. Especially since the VERY first sin of the video, he proceeds to insult Chariii5 (and my intelligence for expecting me to believe that lie).
Also heres my list of the 5 games: Paper Jam, Partners in Time, Superstar Saga, Bowser's Inside Story, and Dream Team (one of my favorite 3ds games of all time)
10:58 heck to be fair i don't consider this game canon not because it's bad but because it's an educational game and logically we SHOULDN'T consider educational games as canon
@@tonysonic456 I mean idk maybe it was my touch screen but it was hard for all the wrong reasons, and thats coming from someone who beat Fawful Express on the first try
@@susiehaltmann3342Nah, I don't blame you. The Original Bowser's Inside Story never had good optimization for button and touchscreen sensitivity. The carrot minigame was a nightmare for you, me, and many others who grew up playing the original. The Fire Flower also had the same problem. Thankfully, the carrot minigame and the fire flower were both fixed in the remake. Also, Tonysonic is just being mean to you. Don't let him hurt your feelings.
So first off, I do care, because I do find stuff like that interesting for worldbuilding and the like, and researching, putting stuff together to figure out where everything is and goes together and all. And also, the blocks ARE creepy, however, it’s because canonically they’re petrified Toads, so are they, y’know, petrifying people for research? It’s a bit messed up when you think about it, but not for his reason, because y’know, Bowser and his minions were the ones who placed every block, not random Bean Professor man from another country, which should be pretty much well known because of the Game Theory man
Firstly, the blocks are NOT petrified Toads. Not anymore. That was only ever a thing in the first game, and the closest the games ever came to replicating it was in New Super Mario Bros. Wii when Bowser’s goons stuffed Toads inside the blocks. Second, I say nobody cares because he’s asking a question that isn’t really important in the grand scheme of the plot. Granted, it is something that would be neat to know, but having it explained directly when there’s bigger things happening isn’t necessary.
Ah, fair enough yeah, it’s just not really ‘nobody cares’ in those situations, but like some don’t care, since there’s quite a few who actually do fall into that percentage who do care about all that stuff, but yeah, saying that it’s not necessary for the plot in any way and therefore not necessary to be brought up and sinned is a better sin for it that just….Nobody cares.
While Superstar Saga isn’t my favorite game in the series, it’s still a good game. Plus it’s the game that started it all. I also really like the 3DS remake since it adds in mechanics from the newer games, and Bowser’s Minions add new story elements and lore to the game. Plus I never played the original GBA game.
After playing a little bit of this game I wanted to reply to some of sins Charrrii made in this video (my points might be off because I'm playing the gba version) 7:37 Agreed this minigame was piss easy and even if you miss a battery it doesn't even drain that fast 13:20 Charrrii overanalyzing a joke that nobody cares about 14:33 I mean its E. Gadd's cafe it would make sense he gave his employees a spare poltergust (and plus a ghost literally appeared in my playthrough of the game). Also the only connections I know about the two is that they both catch ghosts and they both have ghostly companions, polterpup and slimer (in the cartoon), but I do agree that the connection is pretty loose. 16:03 True but they're practically the same 24:50 Not hard just outright annoying (especially in the gba version where you can get softlocked) Edit: I did beat the game, but I forgot this comment and I'm too lazy to finish it (especially since it has been months since I beat the game) Also if tony's reading this good job for getting a thousand subscribers
14:45 Let's see: All-powerful entity using familiar character to attack: Check sequel not as liked for being a lot more comedic: check ghost that turned friendly/lovable pet(if you count the cartoon): Check battle at a top of a hotel: check Fighting ghosts with more physical attacks that also happens to be blue: Surprisingly Check
And the 100 subscriber special begins. I like this game a lot. It's actually my 2nd favorite M&L game. Also, wow is this video long. Also, here's a few things I have to say on your video. Don't worry, I'm not defending Charriii at all. 3:21 When I listed my problems with Charriii's video, I didn't say that because I was unsure if it was an actual sin, so thanks for that. 6:01 The "Hahaha comedy gold" line made me laugh more than Charriii's sin (which didn't make me laugh at all). 6:57 When Charriii's game releases, I hope he makes an EWW on it. 7:13 I'm surprised that Charriii called a joke good. 7:30 I feel like Charriii writes the script for Logan as well and Logan just reads the lines. 8:47 Why would Charriii be scared to sin Fire Emblem? He sinned KINGDOM HEARTS! Also, do you find the results of the poll odd? The best selling Mario RPG sold 4 million copies and somehow got half the votes, while there are games that have sold 5 times that amount in other series listed. 24:05 Hit or miss? There are hits? 25:02 Yeah, it is easy. Peach walks towards the exit so just stay with her and she won't get captured and you'll reach the end. 26:17 Neither do I. He doesn't do anything special and people want him in Smash for some reason. And when do you think he'll get to Paper Jam and can I list some sins on his Partners in Time video here?
6:57 Oh, that's pretty much guaranteed. If his game comes to consoles as well as PC, maybe I'll play it and cover his inevitable EWW video on it. 7:13 It's rare, but he is willingly to give credit where credit is due. 7:30 I kind of do that too for DT, but I at least word it in a way that sounds like it would come from him. 8:47 Maybe because most of the games are too well-written for him to find any legitimate sins. Also, the poll results don't bug me too much, though it is surprising that Mario RPGs beat out Persona, but what does bug me is the fact that he put Danganronpa on a list of RPGs. Danganronpa's not an RPG. It's a murder mystery visual novel. 24:05 Yeah, there are. Granted, there are more misses than hits, but his voices for Sans, Fawful, and Asgore are pretty good. From the looks of things, he'll do it either in December or maybe at the end of this month. As for potential Partners in Time sins, go ahead. Show me what you got.
@@tonysonic456 7:30 Yeah, Logan's lines don't sound like Logan. 8:47 Knowing Charriii, he'd find a way. Personally, I was expecting Pokemon to win the poll and I agree that Danganronpa shouldn't have been on there. It just makes not listing Fire Emblem worse. 24:05 Yeah those voices did work, but it feels irritating a lot of the time *coughundynecough*. And I'll have the PiT sins soon.
@@tonysonic456 All right, here are the PiT sins: Sin #1: How do we know it was on their own? Sin #2: What's the sin? Sin #3: Except that's not how time travel works in this game. Sin #7: It's a round trip because the Time Holes were created as a result of travelling between two points in time, you can't choose when you end up. Sin #13: He prevented Shroob UFOs from being powered, I don't see a problem here. Sin #15: Just the Bros wouldn't be strong enough. Sin #20: While I agree with Charriii, why is he sinning something that's on him? Sin #21: That's only one entrance. Looking at the back of Fawful's shop, there are other entrances. Sin #26: Why does Charriii say "I know cartoonish stuff happens but this makes no sense." It only makes him look worse and because of it I can't blame anyone for saying he has no suspension of disbelief. Also, there's a difference between getting squished by a person and getting squished by stone. Sin #32: He's E. Gadd. He's totally the type of person to build something for no reason. Sin #35: It was just a joke about Thwomps having no hands. Sin #37: There are more than two times the Shroob language was translated. Sin #65: This is more of a personal thought than an actual sin but why do Sunnycide, the Bowsers, Elder Shrooboid, Princess Shroob, and Elder Princess Shroob get lengthy sections on why they are annoying while Shrowser, the worst of them all, gets only 9 words?
@@An_Account1 Those are some good answers. If you don't mind, I think I'll adapt them to my video when I start scripting. Also, I like to think that they spent very little time on Shrowser because of the fact that he's the shortest "boss" in the game.
You may notice that Charriii never abridges the cutscenes in his videos they way Jeremy Scott does the movie scenes in his videos. Why not sin him for that? That would have saved these videos 30 minutes and his viewers a lot of patience.
Abridges cutscenes? I’m not sure what you mean by that. Whatever the case, everyone has their own way of doing things, and games are naturally a lot longer than movies.
Maybe, but a single pause isn't enough to really say that she said it like that since there's no voice acting. Besides, even if it was a reference, it has no real impact on the game.

My list of mario and luigi games goes as follows Superstar saga Partners in time Bowsers inside story I know i put the games in chronological order but thats my list now i did not put dream team and paper jam on here because i haven't played those yet maybe someday.
After watching a few of these, I have a few things I'd like to say: 1. Is this gonna start some kind of trend of people doing EWW videos of other EWW videos and then it just continues? (EWW Videos being done of EWW Videos of EWW, ect. ect.) 2. I like both your videos, and Charriii's, so I don't really see anything wrong with what you're both doing in terms of these Series. Though if I may say so, the impression you and DT give off is that it seems like you don't like Charriii at all even with the disclaimers present, given the personal jabs directed at him from a few of the videos I watched. I'm not saying you are doing that, not at all, but that just seems to be the vibe you're giving off. No offense to you or your Series at all.
1. I was inspired by Th3Birdman and OmegaBlackHeart who do these kind of videos but with CinemaSins and Dartigan. So far, I and those two haven't received any EWW debunking on our parts, and Th3Birdman's been doing this for a long time. 2. I've always tried to keep the jabs to a minimum. Whenever I take a shot a him, it's usually because he gets something wrong that no reasonable person ever would if they'd paid attention. Sometimes though, he makes a video that I absolutely hate for various reasons, and those reasons cause me to explode in a rage. Luckily, there are only three videos of his that I genuinely hate, and I've already covered one of them.
35:13 Not really. It has it's hard moments and very hard moments at that. Sure, THIS one is not one of them, but the game does want to test your patience once in a while, giving you a cruddy, smoky, minigame for you to play. 35:19 And minigames are not the easiest thing ever. Just like i said. The game can make you angry with a 🚬 disguised as a minigame. If at least 3 minigames from this are way harder than... FREAKING Cackletta's Soul,(which is not exactly hard, in my opinion. She just takes a very long time to beat.) that's saying a lot of stuff. Just... Minigames are the worst part about Mario and Luigi games.(😡) Hope they're not as bad in the 3DS games.(i didn't play them yet)
Well, I at least found them easy. Like I said, that could be due to me being highly skilled at this game, but still, I doubt any mini game is harder than the final boss.
@@tonysonic456 It is due to you being a pro at this game. Sure, there are not too bad minigames, like this one of the clothing making, the mine cart minigame, and the Snail minigame, but there's frustraring ones like Stardust Fields' Jump Rope Minigame, and that "hit × number of blocks in y amount of time" one.(i really hate the puzzles here too. The Thunderhand rolling spikes puzzle is extremelly annoying. You could consider the 2nd example a puzzle, because i'm honestly not sure. Honestly, i don't even know how i managed to beat this game 3 times.) Like... I hate BIS' bosses(that might be an unpopular opinion), but the minigames manage to be worse! Especially the Nose Deck one! That one is garbage that was lit by blue fire! If you're good at these minigames, you won't be annoyed by them. Bored, maybe, but not annoyed. Ok, i'll admit it. BIS in my opinion, has a lot of problems. More precisely, 3 major problems. The normal bosses are bad(expect for the final areas' bosses), the Giant Bosses(expect for Bowser's Castle), and the Puzzles and Minigames. SSS and PinT have the Puzzles and Minigames problem, too. PinT is the least affected by the problem. And it has my favorite bosses in general, which might make it my favorite M and L game, which is unexpected, because i thought i hated this game.(never mind. I don't like the music a lot.) But you know what my favorite part of these games is? Fighting against normal enemies. I really like doing that. Oh well. Here's(at least part of) what i think of the M and L games i played. They are good games, but they're not perfect. Honestly, i wish i was a pro at these games so i would remove at least most of these flaws.(😥)
@@rafaelpereiragomes1735 Well, the only way to become a pro is to keep playing and improving. In terms of boss quality, BiS has some stinkers, but the majority are pretty good imo. Oddly enough, I think Paper Jam has the most consistent quality when it comes to bosses, and that quality is good at worst and phenomenal at best imo. The Papercraft battles are a bit more subjective, but I enjoyed them.
@@tonysonic456 32:33 😄 Yeah, about Charriii's, you call sex jokes(if you check all of the comments in your EWW Charriii's EWW M and L PJ, you will see that in one of them, i complained about Charriii's "sex jokes" being confusing.), they don't really annoy me, but they do confuse me. Like, how does he expect to make anyone laugh at these confusing phrases?(except for maybe Logan?) He just annoys peapoe that understand them, and for peapoe that don't understand, they will get confused. It's a lose-lose. Also, "a pop"? What the crud, man?! Sometimes, English grammars annoy me. If this counts, it's one of those times. Charriii also needs to get good at speaking. Is he bad at everything? Maybe not. Just, if Charriii wants to make peapoe laugh once in a while, he needs to make jokes that everyone understands, and they can't be annoying for peapoe who understand them. That's my personal opinion about his "sex jokes". They annoy you, but they confuse me.(stuff like in Luigi's Mansion 3, this one, and the PJ ones.)
@@tonysonic456 35:56 They, i don't know at all. It could be and it could be not. But i didn't do that thing to my friends when i was a bit younger. Actually, it was kind of the opposite. I remember, when i was playing Free Fire, which was extremelly frustrating, when one of my friends was leaving or something, he would just make my character waste some ammo. It was really annoying. Pranks have a big chance to be misses. Basically, only the person that makes it laughs at it. It's not like just a joke, which, it just annoys you mentally, and it dosen't have as much negative effect. Pranks can literally damage friendships! Honestly, everytime a person makes a prank, he/she should be punished. This literal old bean got what he deserved. So, in this case, i agree with Charriii and Logan. This is different than the minigames and stuff.
