In case anyone’s curious about the thumbnail change, someone actually sent me a thumbnail they made for me, and I liked it so much that I swapped the old one for this one. I have the person credited in the description.

The only Charriii5 EWW where I could actually start to see some flaws by myself. I guess your videos must have been helping me with that. Can't wait for it.

Sonic 3&K is definitely my favorite 2d sonic game, I just have a blast everything I play through it, and chariiis video on it is pretty good too

I recently discovered your channel through this series and I love it, great work on these videos and your amazing comebacks and counterarguments!

This video has a new record for the lowest sin count, with only 43 sins.

Charriii5 still has to sin Sonic 4 Episodes 1 and 2 ,Sonic Mania ,and Sonic Origin's Story mode.

Let me put this simply: Hydrocity Zone's name doesn't matter because it's not even a city. It's an ingenious sewer system with aqueducts. Perhaps the echidnas used it to deal with their waste whilst also fertilizing their farms (e.g. marble garden zone). Call it whatever you want, but it's moot. EVEN KNUCKLES SAYS IT'S MOOT TO SONIC AND TAILS WHEN THEY ARGUE ABOUT THE NAME.

Ok so heres my 1st rebuttal, and only expect me to do these for the shorter vids Sin 1: wow, youre willing to waste 5 sins over him taking a long time to upload, its really not that big of a deal (+5 sins) Sin 6: he wasn't making a joke, he was pointing out the the way they put the title and possibly how its really weird (+1 sin) Sin 7:ok, ill give you that one (-1 sin) Sin 12: ill agree with you on letting people pronounce it the way they want to, but editing errors, while bigger than typos, are still ignorable, also you're getting 10 sins every time you insult charriii starting the next time it happens (+2 sins) Sin 16: there's nothing wrong with references, sure they have nothing to do with the game, but there still cool (+1 sin) Sin 17: yeah it doesn't, to me anyway (-1 sin) Sin 27: see sin 16 (+1 sin) Sin 28: also see sin 16 (+1 sin) Sin 31: its still stupid for not getting the idea to wait for sonic to move off his head, from a narrative perspective anyway (+1 sin) Sin 32: why does it matter which version (+1 sin) Sin 40:just because only 15% of people who answered that said it was painful doesn't mean that there arent others out there who find it to be annoying, plus its just his opinion, also tony insults charriii (+11 sins) Sin 41: see sin 12 (+1 sin) Sin total: 23 Sentence: Mania might as well be sonic 4 Thats my 1st rebuttal, let me know your thoughts everyone!

I like the attention to detail of putting this video in 4:3 just like Charriii’s video.

4:34 Also want to point out Tails CAN canonically fly infinitely it's just gameplay purposes or else you could cheese everything and same goes for Super Sonic, He can canonically stay Super for as long as he wants unless the power is sucked out from him and/or if he chooses to let it go! Gameplay and actual story parts are two different things it's wired but C'mon guys

10:19 I'm glad that in the Origins remake, it was retconned to be Hyper Tails while the Flickyless version from Mania is brought in as Super Tails, used by getting the Chaos Emeralds so Tails is no longer left out.

This game is definitely my favorite. There are so many things that make it so awesome!

Out of all the Classic Sonic games, this one is the best along with Mania.

Funny thing about Charriii complaining about the Giant Eggman Robo's fingers, when he brings up Heat Arms (Lava Reef's act 1 boss) if you're Super/Hyper Sonic, Super Tails or Super/Hyper Knuckles you can cheese Heat Arms itself by just waiting while Spin-Dashing. Oddly enough it's one of the few moments in Sonic 3&K/Sonic & Knuckles where getting crushed only works if you aren't Spin-Dashing. Also, if you go out of your way to destroy the tendrils that Heat Arms uses (which return in Sonic Mania during the Oil Ocean act 2 fight) then the boss skips the tendril phase and will just keep trying to squish you like a bug until it gets destroyed. The tendrils take four hits each, paring that with Heat Arms' own six hits means the boss can take fourteen hits which is the same number of hits it takes for the Egg Inferno to be defeated by its own iron balls (which can be reduced to 8 hits in Sonic 3 A.I.R.).

I’m still waiting for a canonical explanation of the whole Knux/ Super thing, since there’s so many answers like, he used his Chaos energy to force the Emeralds out of him, or he brought the Master Emerald and used its energy to force the Emeralds out of him but y’know I guess that’s just one of those mysteries that we’ll never discover the answer to, it’s right up there with what Pot of Greed does…. And with regards to machanical lifeforms transforming using Chaos Energy, well we don’t have many examples to go off of, just Super Mecha Sonic, Ultimate Gemerl and technically Metal Madness and Metal Overlord and potentially Classic Metal Sonic. But seeing as the Emeralds turn thoughts into power, and can have their power channeled without needing thoughts or sentience, robots most likely just absorb the energy the Emeralds exude and then channel it into another form of energy, like how the Chaos Energy Cannon and Eclipse Cannon work, which would then make the robot become what their coding would assume is the most direct way to fulfill their directives, which for Mecha Sonic and Classic Metal Sonic was just a power boost, probably since they were built as the strongest robots and thereby would assume they are already the best of their capabilities, while Modern Metal Sonic completely rebuilt itself using debris from the destroyed Final Fortress, due to needing absolute power, and Gemerl created an absolute defense with ranged claws and lasers in order to keep distance and prevent destruction through his defences, which would thereby show that it may not even be that it’s something that Eggman would need to or even be able to program, other than just making his robots able to store and channel all types of energy through their natural power tank and energy exchange capabilities, as long as they can channel Chaos they can use it, which also would give him the awareness for the possibility of some sort of Chaos Energy Cannon type of weapon, since Chaos is the constant, and the one who controls the Chaos always wins. Also, I’d say references are usually fine, since how are people supposed to learn about new things without referential things in the things they watch and play? Maybe not for full on sins, half at most, but still references play a major role in life on the whole. As for the half sentences that aren’t scripted, that’s most likely the case, they WEREN’T scripted, and weren’t originally in the sin, and so they weren’t transcribed into the pre-written subtitles, prior to voicing. But also, it’s cool to see that you two are getting more common ground and agreeing on more things, since this was kind of a ‘debunking’ type thing, it’s cool to see that he’s written more stuff that’s kinda ‘undebunkable’ now y’know? And of course, as usual, you may say spelling errors in games are just nitpicks, but nitpicks can be sins, so they can work for both of you and all. And keep it up, I can’t wait to see which the next one is, it’ll be a Sonic game for sure haha.

I remember hearing the final boss theme from Sonic 3 and Knuckles as a kid, but not understanding it's origins. My first time hearing was from a SpongeBob fangame called "DoodleBob and the Magic Pencil", it's played when you're in Plankton's level. I did not know it came from Sonic 3 and Knuckles, until Sonic Origins was released. I'm born in 2006, don't blame me. Also, the final boss theme is amazing. You use it most of the video game bosses and they work very well.

The reason Hyper Sonic hasn't returned in any official Sonic game (as much as I, too, would love to see it; imagine fighting the Titans in Frontiers as Hyper Sonic) is because Takashi Iizuka is adamant about not having tiers of super forms like in Dragon Ball which would get confusing.

I actually laughed at chariii's vid on this, I wonder if you can make me do the same here. I did feel some of the point chariii made we're valid but i wonder if that will change? who knows? I'll edit this comment later when the vid tomorrow after work edit: watched the video, original vid is still funny but still has some flaws, this one still is funny and has some good points, but one sin where knuckles knocked Sonic out of his superform is kinda iffy since chariii fought knuckles with hyper sonic yet he was close to the master emerald. I still think gamerguyd7aces made out super sonic triggering the phantom ruby seems more accurate since Sonic mania displayed the chaos emeralds being sent away because of it.

2:49 Attempting to remember a different youtuber, but one thing that I thought was interesting is that when accessing the mushroom hill one at the beginning, theres an animation thats a callback to the ending of sonic 1 where sonic gets confused as the emeralds disappear, however in this game, sonic actually watches it happen, which hints that maybe he’s seen this before. Not to mention is that flashing giant ring available in just sonic 3 and knuckles, or only when using the dual tech?

It is rumored that Michael Jackson made the soundtrack for Sonic 3 & K but it was told that he wasn't happy with the results and ended up nowhere near the credits. Also as usual, you do a good job showing the flaws that Charriii never thought about it.

I kinda feel bad for you Tony, because you got guys harassing you to stop uploading videos and do you own thing, Plus your video are really great and entertaining, I don't know why they say that you are harassing chariii, in reality they are harassing you And plus you aren't bad at all, they can't see what greatness if it came up and punched them in the face.

Sonic 3 and Knuckles is my favorite Sonic game, I found all of the giant rings in mushroom hill using debug mode. I also use debug mode when knuckles through the giant border at Sonic, and skip the boss fight with Eggman and went straight to Hidden Palace.

Which is nearly 50 percent of the video and the length with only the parts with actual significance is 6 mins and 18 secs. In other words. Only 52% of the video is actually significant and the other 48 percent is a waste of time, so to make up for that heres 48 sins (105) This just makes me realize how much DS has taught me and how far I've come. 1:54 My own theory is that because Sonic doesn't have too much experience with the Chaos Emeralds, unintentionally using them to turn South Island back to normal, and canonically not using them until around the end game to turn into Super Sonic in Sonic 2. Sonic exposes himself to the Emeralds very frequently, but he never truly controls their power until Sonic 3, shown in comparison with Sonic 2. Sonic in Sonic 2 would transform any time he jumped, where the Chaos Emeralds acted on their own and overflowed with power and energy, causing his rough transformation into Super Sonic, Sonic in between 2 and 3&K learns how to somewhat control the Emeralds' power but not to a large extent, then when the events of Sonic 3 roll around, Sonic can transform at will, but can't fully contain the Emeralds' power, then Knuckles comes along, who has more experience with handling the Emeralds because of the Master Emerald, catches Super Sonic off guard, and has the blood of the previous Master Emerald Guardians flowing through his veins, he easily knocks away Sonic, and due to Sonic's inexperience with the Emeralds, with that strong of a blow, the Emeralds fly out of him. By the end of 3, Sonic has learned more about the Chaos Emeralds to the point (even if it's not canon) that he can freely manipulate the energy to transform into Hyper Sonic. Also 4:05 the 2 sins could be because of the 2 ways to pronounce Hydrocity.

I know this is my 3rd time saying this, but I feel it might be best to write it in one of the EWWs, and this will hopefullybethelast time I write this, if you guys are gonna keep harassing chariii and Destroyershy cus the former makes videos that frustrate you and you think the ladders a terrible person for being critical towards someone you like, know you're worse than both of them combined and you should stop your toxicity and harassment

Knuckles punching the Chaos Emeralds out of Super Sonic is an in-game thing cos we never see it in future Sonic games. Be realistic, if we started Sonic 3&K with Super Sonic, the game wouldn’t be fun. So we obviously need a way to make the game a challenge and although it never happens in other games, Knuckles taking the emeralds from Super Sonic is a way to do that.

2:36 It's been shown many times that Sonic and Tails can be damaged by fire and explosions (even in this very game) so them being able to survive this entire area of Angel Island being set on fire seems very questionable even by this world's standards. And the fact that no signs of pain is shown also adds to the confusion
