Solo display practice in the DeHavilland DHC-1 Chipmunk over the stunning South Wales coast, testing a new camera setup! All of which, I’m pleased to say stayed attached!
Despite the overcast cloud there was plenty of space for a full aerobatic display practice!

While in the air cadets in the late sixties we flew in chipmonks from Filton doing aerobatics over the Bristol channel .

Yes, i was in 2318 SQN and also flew as a cadet from Filton!!

@@intheairwithpaul I was in 2442 previously 37f Seamills we were known as f troop , an american comedy series .Those reserve pilots had a sense of humour if you were a rooky they would throw the plane around barrel rolls stall turns were their favourite there was a rumour one flew under the severn bridge .Theres no record of it though .

Yes, it took me back 50+ years when I was on 287 (4th Edinburgh) Squadron and at a Summer camp at Catterick we did aerobatics. I'll never forget my doing a loop in a Chippy.
