I haven’t watched the NBA in a very long time, but there hasn’t been defense played in the NBA since the 90s.

This happens a lot in nba - not just in this game - MANY teams all of a sudden in 4th quarter go completely away from what they were doing in first 3/4 - iso ball; quick shots; contested shots….Zero play calling and shooting way too many 3s. Sacramento Kings are another example.

It’s why the Bulls never won in the late 80s when Jordan was regularly scoring 40+

The logo 3 is the worst thing to ever happen to basketball. Its a low percentage shot, most of the time creates a long rebound turning into a fast break for the other team and shifting momentum. And by the 4th quater teams are racheting down on defense and your probably fatigued from the game, coincidentally driving down your percentage of making it as is. The best shooter shoot 3s at bout 40 percent. Now you have a run of the mill player shoot it they probably drop to like 35 percent. Then take 5 steps back it probably drops 30. Now be fatigued and having defenses make adjustments? Your probably talking about a 20 percent chance of making that (at best).

that's how the nba now a day, everyone just hoisting up bad 3 early on the shot clock or late cause they dribble around with fancy handle too much, it looks cool but it's not getting the ball around to the open man or create and open shot or lane.and now if u're a big man, u're not allowed to be a big any more, u have to shoot 3s.smart basketball means play to ur strength, if u're a big man, use ur size to get easy points 5 feet from the basket and get ur defender in foul trouble. shoot 3s when u have an open 3 don't just launch a heavy contested 3 just to let everyone know u can shoot 3s too.
