This summer I followed the Dominican Republic pretty closely as they played against Italy in the pools so I got a good look at KAT. I'm telling you, his mindset is just not there I believe. He is very complacent with himself, he almost never has the right body language (you may think that's bs but I think it's actually pretty important) l, he was shrugging off the opposition and he always made that face you do when you think you're in control of the game but he actually never was. The only way the Twolves would be really good with him is if he accepted a Bam Adebayo type role and to stably be a second fiddle to ANT. I don't know if that's gonna happen though. ANT doesn't yet have the pedigree to shut him down in games like these or to push him the way jimmy did, but I could definitely see a Kobe/Shaq dynamic developing in the future, the only difference being that KAT is nowhere near as nasty and as dominant as Shaq was

They would’ve been up by a large margin and not been down against the worst team in the league if he hadn’t been stat padding/ playing traffic cone defense all game and stayed within their offense. Instead he wanted to play hero and got benched

Exactly. One man scoring those type of points and about to lose says a lot about the team and coaching. If a man is on fire feed him the ball and make plays. It's the NBA so they want who they want as stars. It must not be him

I love stories like this. KAT balled out and lost because a team beats an individual.

Edwards should totally take over this team. Dude was deferring to towns ( I guess out of respect so he could get a personal best in points) but he should stop feeding it to him and take control when what kat is doing isn't going nowhere.

The offensive momentum must be based on ball movement… whenever he is hot the rest of the team is cold so you can’t just sub him for more Defense

This is a perfect example of why stats aren't everything. 10 years from now, people will look at this (assuming people still know who KAT is) and say wow, KAT went off, what a game, what a performance! Everyone else didn't show up, he had no help, etc. People look at stats from old games with ZERO CONTEXT and think it tells the whole story. It will never make sense and people like that will always be ignorant.

i am shocked you didnt speak about how KAT got hacked at the end of the game and didnt get the call. instead you thought it was a block? if thats embiid or giannis they get that foul 100 times out of 100
@poorsonwelles
@poorsonwelles 3 месяца назад
Sorry to be the reality check, but if you're spinning and driving into a literal quintuple-team blocking you at the rim, you are NOT embiid or giannis cause they don't make idiotic decisions like that with the game on the line. Assuming you're gonna get to the line instead of earning it is losing basketball.

i get letting a little bumping at the end but once I shoot and a guy only smacks my shooting arm. I should be at the line no matter the circumstance. Thats a dumb hill you all die on lol. I cant win the game if I dont have an arm to shoot hte ball.@@poorsonwelles

Instead of criticizing the man work with the man. Who else bringing fire into the game?! Instead of working with what you got they want to demonize it is bad. If a player can play let them play with some style and incoro it into the team
