In the Map of Ohio County, West Virginia, 1918 (Farmline Map) available on the Ohio County Library website, there is a plot labeled "JC [or JG] Moore just north of Glenn's Run on the western side of what is now Route 2. This would be near the current Assaros garage (but possibly across the street and a little north if this map is correct) as stated by @HackHunter1835 in the previous comment. I do not see anything listed about a school, but it may provide the best idea of where this photo was taken.
