@dapperguy0798 he did agree to pay it back, that's why he had made payments on it back to them. He made a $700 payment and I don't remember how much the other one was

I was a kid that didn't get a lot of presents-- ever. And I didn't die for lack of new Barbies and Lisa Frank stuff. People act like they have to keep up with the IG posts of mountains of presents or else their kid will hate them-- the kid's gonna be more upset when you blow 2-3k on their Christmas haul and come January 1 blame them when you don't make rent. They're gonna hate you more when they're homeless and have nowhere to keep all the junk you got them for Christmas, or lose it all to a storage unit that gets auctioned off when you can't make payments. They don't need nearly as much stuff as they're told to want by a hyper consumerist media that is designed to sell them products.
