Racing games are inherently goal oriented, whether it's to come in first, cross the finish line in time, or in the case of Distance, survive obstacle course-like tracks in as close to one piece as possible!
This is the one review I've seen that really covers just about everything you can experience in this game. The amount of content is insane. I got 5000 hours in this one game it's that big.
I've played this game a few years back & I loved it. Specifically for all the creative maps like the Hot Wheels World Race & Acceleracers maps, growing up I was a Hot Wheels collector and getting to drive one of the cars on a track made by another fan sold me instantly.
Distance is a great game it's good to see it getting some new attention, I see you didn't mention the secret crab campaign that has you jumping through more hoops than it takes to get the interceptor.
Very good game this, that doesn't get much attention. I remember describing it as a horror/racing game at the time, with elements of Thumper to it. Quite unique and I doubt we'll see anything else like it in the near future. Thanks for the video reminding me of it.
