Unfortunately he's not admitting that salt isn't a problem if we simply lower insulin....by not eating high carb diet! Salt is necessary to be healthy and isn't a problem for uric acid itself

10% of calories from sugar is insane! The EU constituent countries have a completely different standard--and much lower sugar recommendations.

This information is only true in the context of a broken down metabolism by overconsumption of omega 3 and omega 6 oils. In a healthy metabolism, fructose is metabolised and converted to glucose in the intestines up to about the persons weight in kilograms in grams. 75kg person is able to converts around 75g of fructose to glucose per meal. Consuming over that amount is realistically very difficult. The real problem is a distressed metabolism, specifically insulin resistance case. Eating less fructose will only cover up the problem, but not fix it. Removing the oils will gradually fix the broken metabolism.

This is an interesting reply but I wish you would find time to elaborate more on it. In our current environment omega 3 oils are being promoted quite frequently as being therapeutic. What levels would you consider as being overconsumption? The real problem as you describe is a "distressed metabolism" and I feel I fall into that category, but how would removing these oils mend a distressed metabolism? I feel my distressed metabolism has probably been acquired just as many researching docs on RU-vid have suggested by decades of abusive overconsumption of carbs, which I am guilty of. The overconsumption of omega 3 may now be present in my lifestyle but at what levels would that be apparent? Thank you for your previous reply and hope you have time to make more.
