John Owens Sure first he needs to go into the other community where people assure their kids a spot in Harvard, Yale, duke etc. By the all mighty dollar. It is easy to commend a sell out. Racketeer charges on the bases of a bonus. Make them pay it back if they received it. They are not a mob organize crime but he went hard for that charge. But can't seem to go hard in cops that kill and beat African Americans. Guess what they are not trying to give him those cases to win. They should have been fired, they did not beat or rape a student thank GOD. So why put them in prison with criminals who murdered. He is weak to me.
Jail time for this? Fines, loss of license, community service seems more appropriate. It takes more to convict violent criminals! This legal system is horrendous!
I agree with the decision. I find it disgusting that they would push those kids into the world ignorant. This is where ignorance starts. It's a trickle down affect afterward. Good job ATL
So, you blame these 12 educators for all of those idiots almost graduating high school? Look at the system. It is designed against poor brown and black schools. It is institutional racism that has many inner city districts at a disadvantage. If caring inner city parents lie about their addresses to try and get their kids into a better school, they are prosecuted on felony charges. Why are all public schools not on the same level as far as education, access, and opportunity goes? Why is the schooling system in this country so unequal?

Sometimes the educated are often the most uneducated. The travesty here is the fact that the government places poor educational curriculum in African-American communities which has no value for their lives and certain doesn't help to further their chances of getting into college.....the system is set up for them to become the laborers for minimum wage. Plato once held that education was a matter to be controlled by the state, so it's no surprise that the state and judge was harsh on these suspects. White students and teachers have cheated the system for years, but no one has addressed this issue............because they are still trying to justify that bullsh......"Bell Curve" theory in an attempt to ignore the "Law of Polarity" which says that everything has its polar opposite. The things that children should be learning aren't being taught in African-American schools, but the White kids are being taught the information which helps to expand the mind in their schools.
Sad sad sad. I am not saying what they did wasn't wrong. But ignorant people prison time are you serious this is a waist of a jail space. Jesus and two other men were on the cross pierced and bleeding to death for hours two for stealing and one for saying he is the son of God. And the one let go was a mask murder who belonged on the cross. My point who kills people for stealing. And who gives people prison time for cheating on a test. I can't sleep this is how much this bothers me. I am glad I got out of the board of education when I did. Because they pretend they don't know that they give some race of kids better education books computers and more than other kids or design the test in a way so that the kids can fail in certain community. In my community they took two schools from a poor community of minority and gave it to predominantly Caucasians. I had some of my former students and other kids I worked with register to the school. Lets just say despite them being A+ students they experienced racial issues and the community kids were not allowed to go to the school. One young girl who was Spanish the teacher asked her how did she even get in the school. She left the school because of the racial issues and now works helping saving people lives in a hospital with a degree. There is a racial pressure to succeed and to get paid of equal value of these teachers in other schools.
