Oh I miss holding 2 babies at once. I forgot how wonderful that was. It's amazing to watch them grow as individuals but holding them together is such a special thing.
You have 8 kids two of which are six month old babies one of which is a two year old and you still manage to do your make up squeeze in a workout and get ready!!?? The only thing I can manage to say to that is HOW do you do it????? You had such a productive morning and what I call a productive morning is making my bed. She has said before that she has a babysitter and help. I don’t know why she tries to hide it. No shade, if you can afford help then do it. You are doing great as a parent and a human and you shouldn’t feel the need to compare yourself to others. Comparison is the thief of joy.
@@canslovely I'm pretty sure the family that lived with them was renting space in their basement so they weren't living there for free babysitting. If it was me doing that, I would have some sort of agreement that you wouldn't have me pay rent and babysit your kids all the time haha. Also if you follow her on IG, then she would say in her stories "my SIL or brother are watching the kids while I am at X meeting/appointment". Plus pre covid, the older kids are in school during the day so that takes some of them out!
@@canslovely I mean I know people who rent out rooms on Airbnb so I wouldn’t say it’s that outrageous given all of the options available. Definitely to each their own though! Also remember that the internet and social media is just a snippet of people’s lives, they don’t have to share everything publicly. The family may not have wanted to be on camera or have this information so public and I think Jordan would respect that too
thank you for having things like chips and cookies for your kids; there is often subtle and overt mom/parent shame for not feeding your kids 100% organic all the time. that stuff gets pricey and sometimes kids just want a Dorito. and a few chips aren't going to kill them.
THANK YOU FOR WRITING THIS!! I got an actual comment last year from my daughter’s school for putting a slice of birthday cake in my daughter’s lunchbox when it was her birthday the day before - what is that even teaching kids anyway?! That already puts forward a notion that all foods need to be labelled good and bad which in turn causes eating disorders potentially- I had a meeting with the principal because ffs she’s only 9 years old and it’s not like she has cake for breakfast lunch and dinner or whatever - it was a once in a blue moon type thing so I think that teacher was being a bit of a bento box bitch tbh.

Ohmygoodness, Jordan! My youngest just turned 18 this summer, so I haven't had 6 month old babies in a long, long time. Thank you so much for this glimpse into your day! It reminded me of how much I loved that 6 month stage, and how incredibly sweet babies are! It also reminded me of how hard some of those days were-! You are way more productive than I am, even on a good day, with all my kids grown! God bless you, sister---you're doing an amazing job, momma!!!

I have always felt bad that I don't get up at 5am and have myself all ready for the day by 7am like most "normal" working non stay at home mom adults. The fact that you also don't get "ready for your day" until nearly noon makes me feel like I must be doing ok! Family of 7 over here. 🤷
Mama of 6 and we also wake up around 7:30 or 8 am and start homeschooling sometime between 9-10am 😅 I always feel crazy when I see all the “6am get ready routine” videos 😬

I don't know if you remember who I am but I lost my son about 6 months ago and it was as your beautiful twins were born and it was so hard for me to watch the videos at the time but watching this video today has been amazing and I really do love your channel and your family is an inspiration to me. 💞

They're probably hungry when they wake up at 3/430 too! 6 months is teeny still. ETA they could very well sleep thru to 7 or 8 if you feed them earlier at the 3/430 wake ups you mentioned. 2 less wake ups 😊
Yes I agree. My babies get bottles when waking up until 12 months. Formula seems to digest fast. I've only had 1 all night sleeper before 12 months. All other 10 babies woke for bottles every 3 hours at night. 🥴😊
You are such a wonderful mom, Jordan! I loved how your older boys walked Rome before breakfast. So many Amaricans don't walk their dogs. Here in Norway it's part of the animal welfare laws that all dogs and horses need at least three small or one long walk every single day. At least three to four hours depending on their size and age. Say a German Shepard will need more than a small Chihuahua. You are an awesome family! Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs from Norway.
I unfortunately can not walk my dog as he was never leash trained when we rescued him. 150 pound Rottweiler even with a general leader is very difficult. But he does get outside time in the fenced in yard to do whatever makes his heart happy. Plus he’s almost 8... makes a difference too. No judgment needed, just saying that if I’d had him from a puppy, this would be different.
I certainly think americans need to walk their dogs more. But that does seem like kinda a silly law only because it is hardly enforceable. But again, I certainly agree. People don't exercise their poor animals nearly enough. 😟
Here in Sweden too. You have to walk and exercise your dog and also there is laws about how to keep cats. If you cant take proper care of your animal, someone else that can should take it.

It has been so bad that I have resorted to trapping the cats and taking them out to cattle feedlots where there are mouse problems and they are always looking for cats. And not one of the cats was wearing a collar or had a license,

Me and my husband struggle with one 6 months old baby and we barely get to do anything around the house as we are permanently exhausted, our baby is so fussy...... Watching you do all this mainly alone with a little bit of help from your older kids gives me hope. As of right now we do not want another child so maybe in the future but you are an amazing and inspiring mom!

Fun fact: babies are basically hyper tuned into what their Mum is up to for like the first year of their lives. To the point where they basically only focus on Mum's face and voice when you're with other people, and kind of only recognise mum for a little while, the rest of the people in their lives aren't completely imprinted. - fun facts I learnt while doing an English Language A Level in the UK. I'm a bit rusty on the timeline but that's basically the gyst; it's fascinating how babies and children develop linguistic skills.

I have snack bins too! Well, one snack bin for toddler snacks. Its so nice to just grab something out because its always something quick, easy, & that he loves.

Different color bottles is great, but I also recommend inch bug labels! It’s so nice if you have to hand bottles over to Dad/sitter to have the names on the bottles, always ready to go! ✨
