This manga really pushes me to question the current point of view of our society on the ego in general: by listening and fighting for his ego, Isagi stood up after harsh setbacks time and time again. His relentless adaptation is the not only crucial for him, but by evolving he got to a point where he could do something for others around him: for example, imagine the outcome against Manshine if Isagi broke down definitely against Kaiser since day 1. Bastards would have been devoured. Imagine the current game against Ubers, by becoming a potential second ace for the team Isagi is actually making the idea of Victory all the more possible. Think about it for yourselves guys, take the time to imagine what you can become by listening to your ego, by facing your fears and flaws and overcoming them. Imagine what futur you can bring to reality with that potential you getting real... Great chances you would be able to get to a state where you can smile just like metavision Isagi :)
