I thought the same. Its amazing how this option worked stayed a secret for years. It was thanks to larian support that I figured how this worked.

I figured red would liked her more as slug as how he was talking about her voluptuous volcanic body Wish you could invite braccus to the wedding though. We carry that invitation paper in inventory the whole game, would be an grand finalle to give it to him right at the end

Adramahlihk always shows up to kill Lucian and Dallis if you decide to give up your source and you've made a deal with him. If you don't hold up your end of the deal, Adramahlihk kills the person that made the deal and starts a fight. If you stole the blood vial back, Adramahlihk starts a fight, but doesn't kill the person that made the deal right away. Although, it seems like there is a glitch that prevents you from reviving the character that made a deal with Adramahlihk if you steal the blood vial back.

@@warhammer40k57 Unfortunately, no. Adramahlihk doesn't show up until Braccus is already dead. It's only useful to make a deal with him if you are playing online with other people and you want an edge in the scenario where multiple people try to claim divinity. He'll help you fight against your party members in that scenario.

@@elhermanodejiren183 I just checked it out. After you force Braccus to retreat, the Doctor appears, and Braccus just ... disappears. They don't fight and it's sad. I wanted to see the Doctor and Kraken fight.

Thanks. Basically you can get pure buff once you get to thr act 4. Just run to the church to lucian statue talk with him to get it. Once you get it you're free to kill as you please. Later kills don't count. Game only checks for the pure buff when doing the braccus persuasion. Important thing is not having hero tag so that they don't clash with villain tag option. Funny that you can become pure and genocide entire population of arx 5 minutes afterwards. Still counts pure.

Thanks im glad you liked it. My upload schedule is pretty non existent right now so i can't make any promises about a video. But l'll make a short guide here and now. The statue in act 4 which grants you the pure buff asks you 4 questions which are; Dost thou steal? (Dont steal basically) Dost thou kill? Dost thou serve the Void? (Don't do sworn questline basically) Dost thou respect the soul? (Dont eat source with source vampirism or purge) First, third and fourth are pretty simple to do. One thing to note is that during act 2 you must not learn source vampirism at all because game forces you to use that during the god dialogue. Now on to the killing which is the hardest part. First i ll start with some tips. - Kills by summons do not count as kills so they are your to go way to kill stuff if needed - However if you want a very purist pure playthrough where you dont even want to kill anyone and live pacifist thats a little tougher. In this game you have to kill 2 bosses to beat the game. First is Alexander in act 1. Second is the act 3 final boss. Alexander can be deathfogged but the act 3 final boss cant be i believe. So no matter what there needs to be atleast one kill to finish the game. - Executioner talent is great. It gives you 2 ap everytime something counts as a kill. So you can know if you mistakenly got a kill. It helps a lot when you first start the game. - Just one character fitting the criteria is enough. Rest of your party can kill as they like. However this means only that character gets the pure buff. - Most story related during dialogue kills do not count as kills if i remember right. (Like stingtail). Though this might not be true since it can differ if its a companion or main character. There was a larian employee confirming which ones count as kills but i couldn't find his/her comment. - Surfaces created by your attacks and retribution all counts as your damage thus your kill. - Deathfog by barrels or lava by terrain transmutation do not count as kills so those are fine. Its fine as long as you didn't created the surface yourself. - Tutorial ship Just skip or summon kill all enemies and escape. Now the important thing here is that Do NOT help the origin characters by returning back to the deck. Kills they get as guest characters do count as kills so its best to avoid this entirely. - Act 1 Most figths can be skipped as most acts. You can escape the prison lvl 1 with just a resurrection scroll teleport for a nice exp boost. Objective here is to kill alexander. Getting a deathfog barrel by ship and throwing at him is the easiest way. But summoning is there if you want a fair fight. Executioner talent can help as you adjust to playing the pacifist way. This is just the fastest way though you can do everything else you want with being careful about not getting kills. - Act 2 The most confusing and large act but can be finished easily. The order is; 1. Save meister 2. Do the rutial once to get the source vision (Never do the rutial again after that) 3. Go to the bloodmoon island and get a free source point and location of the nameless isle from advocate. All this for free too. 4. Kill advocate as this will fulfill jahans quest. You dont need to get the quest no worries on that. Now as for killing him terrain transmuting lava from hannag is the easiest way. Im not sure about his fire resistance though. But deathfog also works if you have it as well. Deathfog can also be terrain transferres by the undead boat guy of if you start a fight with him. 5. Tell jahan you killed the advocate and he'll give you the last source point needed. Now you have the 3 points and the island location you can go to the next act directly from the boat if you want to. Act 2 has a lot of quest that require you to kill people so do be careful about it. Some like mordus are during dialogue kills as well so take care. - Act 3 Last act we need to clear and a short one. All you need to do to clear it is rushing to the academy. You can find the secret entrance on the lava islands near the academy. You need a moderate amount of wits to see it though. There is no enemies on this route so its the safest. Jump skills or flight is essential though. On the academy you can also learn the source skills you missed since we didn't do the meisters rituals. Here you can enter the well arena. Just rush to the well with jump skills and its done. Now all that remains is the final boss of this act. The doppelganger and dreadful source titan. Soruce titan is immune to both lava and deathfog. So we have to fight fair. A summon to do the killing is a must. Or another party member is fine aswell. -Act 4 Finally its over. Quickly rush to the church on the city and talk to the statue. Yhere is still the fight at the gates which will require a summon to do killing. And then run to the cathedral and enjoy being pure. Also after becoming pure you can kill as you like. Or deathfog the whole city if you want. Thats it. If your character dies the free wings go away through keep that in mind. Also its been a long time since i played so im not sure how correct everything i typed here is so im guessing there might be some mistakes. But adapting to the unexpected is fun too in a way right. @@Burak_C thank you again!! On that note, I did think of two questions. 1) Do purging wands on shriekers count as disrespecting source? Im assuming they do, just wanted to make sure. And 2) does breaking soul jars count as killing?

@@SandraStar66 Yes and yes. Game keeps track of your source vampirism and purge uses as a number just like it does with kills. And that number has to be zero for being pure. Thats why its very important to not learn source vampirism from your gods as in that scene you have to use it on your god once to exit the area. And yes soul jars count as disrespecting the source as well. Now do breaking them count as kills that i do not know. Since it's the environment that does the killing it might not. But i never had the heart to try it.

No problem i had these issues as well. I even went as far as asking Larian studios directly and its only thanks to them i was able to make this video. Also one important thing is the said pure/hero character has to be the one to talk to braccus rex. And they always choose to talk to your main char. So if your main character isnt the one with tags only way to do it is the kill the main char then talk with them. (Like i did in the video) Video description has a lot of details as well if you're interested

That was my reaction as well when i first discovered this. It was such an elaborate persuasion/tag check that i had to mail larian support to figure it out.

Yeah its a bummer. I had to cut due to their full dialogue being longer than this video itself.

There could be many reasons lets see First have you completed path of blood without using the source amulet? You have to do it by answering the questions of the statue. And to do that you need a character that never killed anybody and has no stolen items in his/her inventory. Doing so will give you the "pure" buff. This buff and hero tag allows the hero option to appear during braccus talk. Easiest way to understand if you did it correctly is if you have angel wings or not. If your character glows and has wings then you did correctly. Secondly make sure the character that has the pure buff and hero tag talk to braccus otherwise options does not appear. Thirdly make sure you do not have villain tag. Thats all I can think of right now.

@@Burak_C I always get the hero tag, but also killed plenty. So I never go through the path of blood without the trinkets.

How do you clear path of blood without getting new character from mercenary blue elf?maybe you can avoid all other fights but you have to kill Alexander from act 1 to leave fort joy

@@fizzyelf5715 Only one of the party members has to not kill. Also if a kill is made by a summon it doesn't count as a kill. So summoner is best for this kinda thing. I think you can also utilize deathfog or such for Alexander. But the main issue is act 3 final boss is immune to both fog and lava so a summon or somebody else to do the killing is a must.

@@Burak_C OHH MY GOD why I didn't realize that when I don't get ap from executioner when my summoning kill someone thanks for the tip!! I really would play again if there is an achievement for persuading barrax Rex to leave!! But anyways I always wanted to clear path of blood without stealing and killing, nor getting mercenary elf for help

It's from rendalls armor/weapon mod. It lets you change the skin of your weapon. But maladys spear is actually obtainable. In act 4 during the first fight in the lizard consulate portal you fight against 3 doppelgangers. One of them is a fake malady. You can only steal it from her. She doesn't drop it so its STEAL only. And you have to steal it during the fight which can be tricky. It was an item drop from her in the classic but changed in the definitive edition for some reason.

This is a nice one. I do not think anyone survives the deathfog however you can talk to most dead peoples spirits and there are quite a lot of them. Also malady says a sentence about it only if the Isbell does the deathfoging if you do not stop her.(not if main character does it). I ll probably gonna make a video about it.

Pretty much I just want to know who can properly survive deathfog and what the surviving characters reactions are to using deathfog in the city, like going through all their dialogue.

@@Burak_C Thanks. If you remember early on in the game, there's a portion where you meet your god for the first time and there was the enigmatic figure. Do you have vids of that fight?

@@LN.2233 hmm I have some of the the firs time meeting god scenes in my video folder. I was gonna make a complation of all gods dialouge but still havent made it. I do not remeber an engimatic figure in that scene though. You mean the scene where you go to hall of echoes and talk to your god and get bless and other gods are fighting in the background? Was there an actual fight?

The red running symbol? That's one of the ingame gift bag mods. Speeds up your character running animation speed out of combat. Makes backtracking and running around much more tolerable. Makes trap puzzles very easy though.

Kill your other characters. That's the only way.

@@Burak_C Sacrifices have to be made.

Character you use doesn't matter at all. Just the tags you earned such as hero or pure. And you can pick any ending after the persuasion including fane endings as fane.
