Love the life you have. I love Alaska. In200 my husband and I went to Alaska and loved it so much. My husband has passed, I am 82, and never forget the beauty we saw. Enjoy your life It has to be the best

That's gorgeous. I could live in it year round. Just the right size. I grew up in an 11 room house with 5 garages and let me tell you, you spent your whole weekend just cleaning it. I'll never live in something that big again. This is all you NEED . (There's a difference between wanting and needing. Too many people must have their "wants". Not me. Just give me my needs).

It's a perfect house cabin for Alaska, love it. Tons of character and perfect size for heating efficiency in winter. We built our offgrid log cabin started in mid 1980s from 100% trees we felled, debarked by hand, and prepped and built DIY entirely. We use propane lighting and cooking. Wood stove with big long chimney for heating the vaulted ceiling half of our cabin. Large windows and big deck. We love it. Thinking about buying land in Alaska and building cabin again.

16' by 20', wow, looks small from outside, but big from inside. Complete with standing height loft. Imagine spending winter there, under warm cozy cabin while blizzard is raging.

Me and the wife lived in one of these when we were first married. It didn’t have the loft like yours, it was just a bigger single story. We loved that place so much.

Well laid out. Good use of space. Lots of windows, so plenty of light. Open feeling in the main room. Stand loft is nice. Plenty of storage in the mud room and garage. Deck looked like a fair sized outdoor space. Sweet spot.

I like how you down play by saying how small or tiny the space is. Truth is that cabin is beautiful and perfect cozy size. Very nice. Beautiful views for sure! I could imagine sitting listening to the tweets upstairs, sipping coffee and looking out the window to such a spectacular view. All the while smelling bacon cooking. That's what dreams are made of.

Start reading everything you can. Keep a notebook of titles and page #s of things that strike you with knowledge, ideas you might use, kinds of systems( solar, where, cooling, heating, electrical and solar, so you can remind yourself where you saw things. Use social media to contact and network with carpenters, electricians, tech guys mechanical/automotive guys. Volunteer to assist people living their dreams. Learn local codes, permits required etc. Start stockpiling materials, etc. Learn how to troubleshoot.. enjoy your dreams, work for it, then live your best life!!!😅😅😅

Hiya Timmy. You did an amazing job. But I still love your tiny truck house more. Lol. I talked with you about it awhile back. It's still what I want for a tiny home.
