Truck House Life... New videos every week! Life and adventure on the road in Alaska & around the world... This channel brings you my Overland journeys, extreme outdoor sports in crazy remote places, wacky misadventures, how-to instructionals and reviews of products that I love for living life on the road, and just some general life in a truck house... My passions are adventuring, sharing and inspiring!
If you would like to contribute to the trucks diesel & repair fund (which directly funds new videos!), feel free to donate to my Venmo @ Tim-Johnson-107
You don't have money to fix your windshield? Can you ask to borrow from someone a friend of yours or family member, a loan from the bank, just enough to fix your windshield
If you don't have to talk all the time you can stop and breathe it's okay believe me we will not die if we don't hear you talking, thank God I am not a subscriber I was going to but I don't think so

Let me describe this kind of "man" for you, this is the kind of man that he prefers not to have a house not to have a job because he will not pay child support, and that way the government doesn't take money from his paycheck because he doesn't have a job, this is the kind of man that doesn't want to have responsibility that's why he has that pick up trailer thing , did he calls a house
I'm not sure if you have the time to read your comments section or not. I wanted to send you a personal email and was unsuccessful in doing so. I'm sure you get a truck load of those as well. Seeing there are almost 4,400 comments posted. I have an idea I would love to share with you. I follow several guys one here and you are my favorite. Thanks for the great channel you have provided.
Watching your videos all the way from South Carolina, I live in my car bc I choose not too pay the ridiculous rent, I'd rather be able to eventually get a truck camper, I just got tired of wasting money paying someone else so I could live somewhere...
I have seen others put breaker panels on every floor, to middigate a lot of those problems going through floors multiple times. That way they get to only pull one big wire through the floor on each level. And then drill through studs. Dont know if its to code where you live.
If that were me, I'd DEFINITELY leave something small connected up and the whole thing would topple over! Super scary first lift-off, Timmy! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!
That's really cool HOMEVAN.. I'll try to make one like that to park and live-in during heavy snow storm like you did. You're my HERO🙏🤷♂️but excuse me what song you play the guitar? So I can learn to play the same.
Awesome livestream as always Timmy. When you come back to Georgia you definitely need to do a video on the Georgia Traverse and The Georgia Adventure Trail and if you’re head to Key West FL you need to check out The Florida Adventure Trail. Also would you ever take the truck house international and drive the Pan American Highway?
If you did a cab over addition, you’d lose the rack, but gain a ton of inside usable space. Maybe even just a single beds worth, half storage rack, and still lot of extra room.
LOVE THE CHANNEL AND THE CONTENT KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK THIS TIP SHOULD HELP YOU CONTINUE THE RUN WITHOUT HAVING TO DRILL INTO THE MAIN SUPPORT BEAMS IT WONT EFFECT THE INTEGRITY OF THE SUPPORTS
Got a tip fror you on the 12 2 x4 studs cut a 1/4 inch groove across the studs 1/4 inch deep across then protect it with a sheet metal cover to protect the wire, LAY THE WIRE IN THE GOOVE THE PROTECT IT WITH A THIN LAYER OF SHEET METAL IT WILL PASS CODE AND YOU DNT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT PIERCING THE WIRE WHEN YOU PUT UP THE WALL
I've had a Ham radio license for 58 years. I have several radios in the camper so I can reach another human anywhere in the world from anywhere in the world. Never had to use it in an emergency I just recently bought a onspot so the old radio tecnology isn't really needed but I still like to hunt up someone to talk to now and then
I really admire your ability to use your driving time to reflect on things, without feeling the need to fill the space with the radio, CDs or whatever else. My thinking is so chaotic and intrusive, and I just don't possess that kind of serenity. It must be really nice. One of the reasons I love this channel so much is that it helps me see that this level of introspection and peace is actually possible to achieve. Thanks for that, Timmy lad!
Watching the part where he's riding solo up in the mountain sort of reminds me of growing up riding ATV's with my dad on the beach in california. The mountains almost look like sand dunes. Also the sled sounds similar to the Yamaha Banshee I grew up riding.
I’m 24 tim, working 40-60 hrs a week to take care of my wife and two kids. Your videos have relit a fire in me that had been almost completely put out to adventure and explore and truly live! For that I thank you brother! Working on fixing up an old RV and hitting the road with the family and doing what I did as a kid and teenager! Love ya man stay safe!
