Hi and welcome to the DIY Aimee Maxi Frill Dress Tutorial. My name is Karolina and in this video, I’ll show you how to make this long sleeve maxi dress using my new sewing pattern called Aimee.
The pattern is available in sizes UK 6-16 / EU 34-44 / US 2-12/ AU 6-16 and you can buy it from my Etsy shop (link below). The pattern I'm using for this video is a UK size 8. If you have any more questions feel free to leave a comment down below :)

Absolutely love this dress! But I was wondering, why exactly do you need the key hole opening at the back? Doesn't your head fit through the V-neck?

The v-neck is not very deep and if you already wear makeup it might be a bit tricky to put on the dress, but of course you could not make it if you want :)

Hey Karolina, love your video, the dress looks amazing!! ;) How much fabric did you use? Does the pattern include a layout plan for cutting the fabric?

Thank you! 🙂 You'll need 2.5m of fabric that's 150cm wide. Yes, in the booklet you'll be able to find a layout plan for cutting the fabric.
