@yietspingle Thanks Pedro! this design is pretty much based on Mr Buckleys ideas. The idea of useing acetal for the valve seat is "borrowed" from theoben rapid. Cheers /O
Richard, FX used Lothar Walther barrels in their "pre-smooth twist guns", a secondhand barrel from an old FX would be great. I havn't tried the smooth twist myself but i have seen them beeing pressed at the FX factory, and also seen them produce amazing accuracy straight from the machines - buy a smooth twist barrel if you get the chance! I know nothing about the barrels used in the marauders... Cheers
Is this acetal the same as delrin? Im pursuing a similar desing, but i have no mill yet, so my trusty lathe will have to do lol. Your work truly sets a new standar for DIY airguners. Best regards, Claudio Trajtemberg.

hello mate, i have just bought a gsx200 from impact airguns, i have just tested it and its pushing only 10fpe ive tightened the spring screw but its still only pushing out 10.4fpe. what else can i do to get it up a little bit more?
I don't have the skills nor the equipment to make barrels that i would be satisfied with... but who knows.., one of these days.. The barrels I use are taken from old airguns or bought as blanks in the white. I prefer Lothar walther barrels i possible. thanks
@hatebr Hi again! You are right; the transfer port is what the air travels through on its way from the valve mechanism and into the barrel.. Have a look at airgundevelopment(dot)com or "talon tunes forum" "gunsru" or some other airgun forum... there are a lot of talented people out there! Cheers
I recommend Lothar walther barrel blanks, if not available go with weirauch. have a look at Chambers gunsmiths, UK. They ship worldwide. Both LW and weirauch are expensive, but why waste an otherwise good gun by fitting an inferior barrel? Thanks
Sir, On your latest project, the bolt-action airfun. Can you please tell us the dimensions of the finished action block and the size of the hole you bore for the barrel and the tank?
Dude, what`s the point behind these air transfel port? Watched the video but just didnt get it. are they used to transfer air that comes out from the cylinder to the barrel? Could you please point me to some interesting resources?
