for more protection i did 2 socks cutouts for one foot and it works very well. it provides more cushioning if you need it.

I think that if you wanted cushioning, use two pairs of sock. sew them together, one inside the other.

As I said, everyone needs different levels of padding. It may be enough for some people where as not enough for others, its all about what is comfortable to each person :)

Cool ! I might try it with a pair of fluffy socks that might be good as well mine seem to not work anymore all pads seem to hurt me :(
