Mon, I think you should make 2 of them and replace your coffee cart with 1. Then, there will be less clutter visually and more uniformity for the eye. ❤

Yes! I was thinking about that, but the ikea Ivar cabinet is too narrow in depth 😞 The coffee machine will stick out 😅

I'd use a cord cover for the lamp. It's so cute but I think the dangling cord detracts from the look.

Fantastic idea Mon, but those 2 small screws are not enough to hold the unit with bottles and glasses. Please be careful.

Depends on how much weight the anchors can hold. Typically I use 65-79 lb drywall anchors unless into studs and also have some toggle bolts that hold 265 lbs apiece.

I can’t believe you didn’t stain it until after it was up on the wall. I could not have done such a clean job. I agree about adding another and ditching the original but I know $$$ can enter into those decisions. I love having it raised off the floor!

the coffee station area would look less bare if the coffee station was somewhere else. Then there would just be a nice airyness around your dinign table

Beautiful bar idea. The dangling lamp cord distracts from the lovely setup. Perhaps move the lamp above the bar (hiding the cord behind it) or hide the cord with a cover, painted with the same colour as the wall.

Love your little bar area Mon...looks great. I can't believe how much weight it can hold while hanging on your wall 👍. My only suggestion if you have lots of room on top for prep is to add a cute little plant there...I think a bit of greenery would really look nice and fresh 😊. Oh, and please give Mars a nice petting from me...I also have a sweet, red Greyhound named Triscuit and she is over 12 years old.

Love the new bar but I am concerned about hanging it using only wall anchors and two screws. Something that heavy should be mounted into studs or if that’s not possible you could put some cool mid century legs on it. Also love the donut lamp but the cord is distracting. You can get cable concealers to hide it or hang it over the bar and most of the cord would be hidden. Last thing…I’d put the lemons in a bowl. You never know when one could go bad and that would not be great for your wood top. Love your videos! Can’t wait to see what other makeovers you’ve got planned!
