Very cool and helpful to see u demonstrating how easy it is to apply your products. Always look forward to new Lawncology videos and information. Keep up the good work John!!
Dar El Barka did the max rate of 9oz per 1k. Added 18oz of Air8 and filled the rest with water for my 2k front lawn. Used the 1oz setting and sprayed everything thoroughly. I have the older ortho sprayer but think they are the same as the new.
I have a few arborvitae in bad shape (not dead). Similar to the tree in this video(not as bad either). Would there be any benifit to using this product in November or should I wait until spring?
Do you have an update on this yet? I just applied 4oz of Microgreen to my white pine that could use some help and I’m excited to see what the results will be.
Hi John. I plan to apply 6oz/1000 of 0-0-2 with 1/2 lb N of organic fertilizer next weekend. Typically, I’ve been adding humic12 to all fertilizer applications to help uptake. Because the Microgreene already contains 8% humic, I’m thinking there is no need for the Humic12 as well this time. Is my thinking correct?
Great vid! This is my first year using your products on my home lawn and this kind of video is very helpful. I would like to see a video using your products to cover 1,000 sq ft with a 1 or 2 gallon pump sprayer and also your recommended mixes and ideal times to apply each product throughout the year.
Thanks for the product and informative channel. I got brought here since I follow the LCN. Can I use this product in combination with broadleaf weed killers or should I apply at different time intervals?
@@Lawncology Thank you for your reply to my question. Would a Non-ionic type surfactant help in anyway instead of the natural adjuvant because the natural adjuvant is expensive
Just received my bio pack from LCN. He says mid summer to start with micro Greene , will be going on vacation so can I spray this week? I be gone 3 weeks and be very hot here. Lawn is looking great with LCN advice. Also, would this product be good for palms? I have a variety from Queen Anne , Pygmy , giant birds, and windmill. Also red banana. Should I spray fronds and put some at base? Thanks for video!
CA Power followed up here, didn’t get to keep going after this. It was removed to get to the pool over flow line. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CXAppt4P8AM.html
thank you for the additional info on the micro green!! IM thinking that might be great for my crepe myrtles, and help fire off more blooms this year. I also have a dying redbud in the back that has severe damage from bore beetles that I may try this on. Definilty going to put some out this weekend using this technique.
You mention a possibility of staining in the video. With that concrete next to the lawn might it be better to use a standard pump sprayer with a more precise tip? Can you make some videos showing how you use your products that way?
WMF I don’t particularly care for pump sprayers myself. There are quite a few guys out there that use and show how to do that like GCI Turf Academy, Pete lives the backpack/pump sprayers. It’s very easy to not hit concrete when spraying. I’ve treated thousands of lawns and never been called back for that issue. The spray patterns are consistent and the material is easy to see.
Jhn, thanks for the video. I just received my bio stimulant pack from LCN. I new to whole thing and just put an application of Milo, RGS and AIR 8. Not sure when I should use the 002 and Humic. I live in the Phoenix area so it should be plenty hot until at least mid October. Any advice?
You mentioned that there is Humic and Fulvic in the microgreen. Does it make sense to add Humic 12 or RGS when I apply my microgreen or it is just a waste of product to apply at the same time?
Hey John, I just purchased your bio stimulation pack and it will be here in a few days. I was going to apply a liquid iron treatment this weekend and was wondering if it would be safe to apply 3 oz of RGS and 3 oz of Humic 12 a few days after?
You can get it 2 Places right now RU-vid won't let me put links in for some reason: 1: Lawn Care Nut Website thelawncarenut.com - Store - Google Search Then go to Shop then Soil Optimization Products 2. GCI Turf Academy Website gciturfacademy.com - Google Search The go to M-Greene County Fert Section Hope that helps. You can by the (4) Product Bio Stimulant pack comes as (4) 1 Gal bottles of product and is enough for 10000 sq ft lawn for 1 year. This is the only way as of today to get the 1 gal options you need to buy the combined packages. Hopefully GCI and LCN can get Greene County to start selling each product in either 1 Gal. or 2.5 Gal separates instead of having to buy 5 gal separates. I would be more economical for the Home Owner and DIY'rs like us!!!
Hey John. Big believer and user of your products. If Microgreene is so beneficial to this tree, why is it that FloraGreene is contained in your tree and shrub pack instead of this? I wanted to try the FloraGreen on some newer bushes I planted and one that wasn't doing as well. I may hit it with Micro instead because I already have it. What I wanted was the 5gallon pack of GreeneEffect and FloraGreene. It doesn't appear that's available. Mr. Denny said those decisions are up to you!! Hint-Hint Thanks bro. Awesome products.
Jeff Williams I was on the lawn with the 002 when I saw the tree, I didn’t have 402 on hand so I used what I had! Just showcases the flexibility of our products.
Douglas Lodema you can run any of the stimulants or micros through your machine with no trouble. The nitrogenous fertilizers I would not recommend however because there isnt enough water to carry it it without risk of burn.
Hi John, do you recommend the "6" setting on the Ortho sprayer to apply to the entire lawn? Just picked up the Bio-Stim pack and eagerly awaiting it's arrival. I have about a 4,000 sq ft lawn, if that helps.
If just using rgs for my lawn in that sprayer could I measure out three ounces per thousand square feet??? Where would I have the setting set at on the sprayer.
Lawncology thank you, I’m confused where to set the dial at, not sure what 2 ounces means or does but I can read your application rates on your jugs just don’t know what that dial means, thanks man
Lawncology are you recommending putting 3oz in and then filling the rest of the can with water and then setting the sprayer to 2oz? I’m a little confused because if you just put the 3oz of product in and then set your sprayer to 2oz the product would be gone in 45sec
I got some "100mL garden syringes" on Amazon and they work amazing for the pouring issue. I am going to attach some rubber tubing to the syringe when the level gets lower so I can still reach the liquid.
Thanks John!!! Great Vid Love the Micro Green Song LOL. I agree with another poster it would be nice to see how to spray 1000 sq ft via the Ortho. I assume you would use the recommend rate in the Ortho say 3oz of RGS in the Ortho per 1000sq, I see you filled to 32 oz to dilute. Then object would be to measure lawn sections in 1000sq increments then set Ortho at 6oz rate so it comes out faster and use it all on that measured area for a better coverage right! Thanks
Art Tully I mixed a full bottle with only a small amount of concentrate. That gave me the ability to move at a comfortable pace and get the material out
FYI. 25$ for that sprayer. Make sure when your finished spraying to run fresh water through it. I left a little bit of left over product in mine thinking I’ll use it next time and it clogged the little filter on the end.
Timothy Henderson wow! You overpaid for that thing. They are 10-12.00 at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Always a good idea to rinse equipment when through. It will make life easier the next go around!
Willie Lombos actually yes. A landscaping company that was hired last year to clean up the beds and trim some trees took it upon themselves to cut it down. Our test was “cut short” it had been making great gains 🥺
