Another tip when using this type of sprayer. I will switch it to the water setting first to soak my painted driveway edges and curbing to keep the Humic and RGS from staining it and then when Im done spraying and praying I will hit it with the water again to rinse off any of the product that got on there. Works like a charm and I don't have to worry about missing the edges.

Shout out to the Zero G hose. That's all I use on my property. It does kink occasionally like in this video, but the light weight and durability more than make up for it. They're also much easier to carry around. Great work on this video, Allyn.

Off topic question. Do you know if and when Recognition herbicide will be available in a homeowner size? At 65,000 square feet coverage per package and $250 cost, this is out of range for most homeowners. My yard is only 4400 sq ft. I don’t want to buy a lifetime supply. Then add in the Fusilade II at $146 per quart and you have close to $400 out of pocket. I live near you in Lakewood Ranch on a golf course, so the idea of killing the Bermuda grass from my St. Augustine lawn is very appealing. However, the cost is prohibitive. Thank you.
@Thelawncarenut

I doubt they will be making smaller sizes anytime soon. THese companis make these products for professionals first and foremost. We are lucky we can even get ahold of them. best bet is to go in with some neighbors maybe and share the cost.

Wondering if anyone else has noticed this: I was spraying Humic12 through a Chapin hose end sprayer the other day (first time spraying something really dark in color) and noticed a significant difference in the concentration of the spray from start to about half way through the reservoir. It is a 20 gallon sprayer (you spray 20 gallons of water to consume what is in the full reservoir) . I was filling it to the 10 gallon line and by the time it was down to 5 gallons the spray coming out was noticeably less brown. It makes sense that it would do that, but was surprising how much it decreased. Allyn, do you know if your sprayer does that?

Do you get the brown spots on concrete less using this method? Backpack sprayer will leave blobs on concrete, fence, and house if you get too close.
@Thelawncarenut
@Thelawncarenut 7 месяцев назад
I just hold the tip closer to the ground when I get near structure (with backpack) and that tends to fix the issue. The hose end sprayer will also get on fences and such if you get too close but it's more "watered down" so it won;t stain as bad

Why bother with the clunky 3/4 ID hose? The 5/8" is going to be fine for what your using it for. Pressure not going to change, just volume, but with restriction ( backflow preventer? ) I would leave that off when in use.

I just do 3oz but it won't hurt to do the 6. I apply lots of other bio-stimulants that also contain humic so I get plenty.

Humic12 right now is great. Wait until you start mowing to lay down the Stress Blend. Celsius can be applied anytime, it will not interfere with anything else you applied.

Hey Allen,Was wondering i bought a bag of your flagship for spring,Question the bag says no more then one application per season spring, fall etc.Does this only apply to north florida because i'am in south florida and your app has me laying it down eight times can you explain why and thank you in advance.
@Thelawncarenut
@Thelawncarenut 7 месяцев назад
It has suggestions of times to apply as spring summer and fall but it doesnt read "no more than one". you can apply Flagship every 4-5 weeks all year long if you want. In N FL, I recommend you apply Stress Blend in spring and fall and Flagship all summer. All good!
@300rear27
@300rear27 7 месяцев назад
@@Thelawncarenut with all due respect brother nut.Its on the back of the bag that says Florida application no more then ounce per each season. Just like you say read the label thanks
@Thelawncarenut
@Thelawncarenut 7 месяцев назад
@@300rear27 gotcha, I was thinking of the front label. Yes on the back I see what you say about one per season. The app is looking at soil temps and because you are so far south, it's thinking Flagship is best but you are correct, you get basically 3 apps - one in late spring, one in summer and another in early fall. the rest of yours should be Stress Blend. You can interchange those any way you like., I have alot of coding still let to do in the app for Florida specifically because we have such different climate (and soil temps) compared to the rest of the US.
