DIY - BMW F10 Xenon Bulb Replacement

Amazingly done (kuddos for being able to hold the camera and work simultaneously - so far I've been practicing for 10 years and still unable). WIll probably make a more elaborate video on this job - referencing this video - would also probably recommend lifting the car on a jack and removing the wheel for better space - and perhaps, removal of the front part of the wheel liner/wheel well plastic - because the two small screws are often rusty (at least on my 2012) and their heads are stupid (Philips) which all results in a difficult opening of the small cover - while the front part of the wheel-liner has loads of 8 mil screws - which are easily removable. Either way - thanks for the advice, this job is done once 5 years anyway, also - heard that only Osram (and maybe Philips) - bulbs are good and the rest are BS. Also - Osram has several levels - the cheapest ones (approx. EUR 50,00 per one) are crap, the more expensive ones (EUR 70,00 per one) are much better. Well done for the work, greetings from Latvia.

Thanks for this. Anyone who is consider doing this, you should not have too large hands. My hands are medium size and I struggled for an hour with changing just the other side.

Thank you. BMW need beating Fancy making the simple job of changing of a bulb so difficult. I'll have to book my car in to get one bulb changed and be charged some ridiculous amount of money for it....

How to installing this back? I failed totally today. Unable to install the bulb with plastic ring back on placed

Thanks for that but are there 2 bulbs located in the section? 1 for the headlight bulb and 1 for angel/day time bulb?

That access panel is poorly designed. It allows water to get to the back of the headlight. I had condensation inside the headlight, I put gasket silicon onto both the headlight access round panels. When I put the wheel well panel back on, I put clear bathroom silicon on the panel before I put it back on to keep water from getting in. I have not had an issue since.

Can some one please let me know is the inner side of the headlight will work or it’s just for the show in day light light. Only outer side of the bulb is working in bmw 1 series model
