It’s so amazing to see how hairstyles come back around. This type of braids have been around for 20+ years. I had this style of braids in elementary, middle and high school. We called them freestyle braids then.
OMG I can’t believe I’ve finally found the real person. Your pic is everywhere on Pinterest and none lead here 😂 I was hesitant to click on this video like “ugh here we go again”. I’m so happy
Lauryn Prieto-Sanchez I did these braids with the drop of nail glue & some of them dried ashy white. I was trying my best to palm roll them so they wouldn’t get stuck. Some did good...some didn’t.😒
NOT nail glue!! Try body glue. (The type used for; tops to tits, diamanted face, etc...) Or Ardell lash adhesive! Ive only tried the black one, so I dont know if the clear will dry a crusty like ting.... but, yeah, seal that shiz wit a flat iron.
I have been looking all over for hair that looks human! I love it!!! I've done this style with Bobbi boss feather tip hair in "54 4,30,27 and I feel like Beyonce. The hair is kinky straight but more of a kinky perm but now that it's summer I've been looking fora new vibe thank you!
Hi, I do the same thing with my hair. After my hair is deep conditioned and moisturized I put them into a lot of twists. The next day I use the twist as my third leg! My hair stays in place for the 4 weeks and I love them!
Portia Lightfoot I do the twist...I prefer a natural look so I part with my fingers. I end up with approximately 30 twist. It takes about an hour. I have mid length hair. The actual braids takes less than 2 hours.
I just ordered the hair! I will tag you when I get it braided in! 😭 It's beautiful feels extremely soft I can't believe it's not fully human. This premium blend is the bomb!!! The color 4 has a beautiful red tint in the sun. It does have a beauty supply smell but I'll wash it and get it out. The hair has bounce, natural shine and doesn't clump together like other brands it's more of a free flowing kind of hair.
@@JadeGodbolt Right now my hair is half way braided with this hair we did smaller thin braids and I love it. I'll tag you once I post the finished look. Thanks for the inspiration love! ♥️🤧
I love this and am gonna have it done immediately but how many packs did you use? Also it doesn’t seem like the 18 inch will give you that length can you use regular braiding hair then add this to the ends??
You look like the girl in the picture. You both are pretty. I recently seen an old painting of a women from an Indian tribe. You give off that hippie Indian Pocahontas vibe with the hairstyle.
How did you like this hair? Did you find that the ends tangled fast or got matted? Also you could use nail glue to seal the ends since these are basically jumbo micro braids.
Did you get a new camera!? The image quality is out of this world!! I am intimidated by doing my own braids but I think I might want to try this!! So pretty.
I love this but I'm little confused. The hair you have there looks like it has cutt off tops. Doesnt braiding hair need to be extra long like kanekalon hair? Im just trying to make sure I know what to buy for myself of my stylist, if i end up giving up. Thanks!
Love this! I saw the hair that is made like these braids but you just crochet them in however I definitely like the way you styled this better. I will definitely be trying out this hairstyle this summer. Can't wait to see how you styled the accessories!!!
I was very lax with how I parted my hair for the most part! I was more specific in the front/perimeter since that’s what can be seen more but other than that I just focus on making sure my parting isn’t TOO uniform so when the braids lay, they cover the “parts” which makes them look fuller :)
It’s called box braids. I used to do this look in the 90s, but made the braids smaller, which is called micro braids, which had lose hair from about two to three inches from the root. Or if I wanted to have my hair braided all the way or close to, I would braid it down farther, as you have done with yours.
Beautiful hair ! i'd really like to try this style but i'm mixed race and on the white side so probably inappropriate ? feel like boho braids would be slightly more acceptable, as there is lots of loose hair? i'd just like to embrace more of my Caribbean heritage really .
Is any of your natural hair left out in the loose parts at the end, or have you braided past where your natural hair stops? I’m also struggling to find this hair in the UK, does anyone know of alternatives that are really similar?
