Looks beautiful Autumn it's definitely pulling blue teal on camera but I love it. If you decide to change it because you want a black that doesn't lean blue or green, would highly recommend Valspar Downing Street. We've used it for doors and and on some radiators and it's a really rich true black!! Thanks for sharing your journey 😀
Loving the videos and the journey as always! But in video it really seems blueish or even dark green, I know it’s your house and your likings and if that it’s what you were going for, that's awesome! I think it’s because, like you said, it’s so close to a real black black and it’s seems a little off. Maybe a white or grey could work too! 💕
The colour looks great as is, but would also be great in a true black. I think the paint works inside & it's not worth tiling, but i think the inside would be better painted in an actual black
You need electric logs for your fireplace. I am in the States so showing you what I have for my fireplace won't help you unless you have a HOME DEPOT where you are at.
@@FeedbyAutumn don’t you just love the English language? .... if you’d swapped the last two letters for an s and an e, your pronunciation would’ve been spot on! 😁. Just thought if you’d *asked* people if they were selling the hearths with the mantelpieces ..... it might’ve been why they said no. More probably though, it would’ve been because removing the hearth would’ve left a huge hole in the floor (Victorian houses of that type tending to have flush, slate hearths; unless in the front parlour, when the whole fireplace would’ve been some huge statement piece) Whole place is coming on nicely though ..... I don’t envy you any more though - been there, done that - reclaimed, stripped, refinished all sorts on the way. You get dust in places you didn’t know you had places 😂
