I've been watching as many videos as I can before tackling my 24' Class C RV remodel. Your is one of the best!! So..Thanks!! I've done a fair a mount of construction projects and with all of those I had a clear vision of how things would go but......because I'm not positive what I completely want to do...it's been hard to start without that total plan of a finish. Just recently I've realized to just pick a spot....clean it...and start...the inspiration will come. Thanks again DIY Mommy and keep up the great work!!

the contact paper can hold up for a long time....I used to cover my counters in nearly every house we rented....just watch heat and water on it... its fun to change things around and up date... works great for country look....

Your camper looks so refreshed and bright. I adore the clean open vibe the updates offer. It's difficult to comprehend the dark and dreary oak and ugly upholstering were ever considered elegant or fashionable. Whenever I see the outdated/antiquated campers, I find it suffocating and seems filthy and gross. Excellent job. Inspiring.

Hi , I think my favorite thing in the kitchen, is the painted cupboard doors, the white on top, the black on the bottom. That black almost look like some green in it. It’s absolutely gorgeous!! Ty.🥰❤️

amazing job, not sure if you already have this info but if you add clear caulking around all the edges where the contact paper is, especially around the sink it makes it last longer and adds to keep the water from sinking under it. plus its easy to remove when ever your ready.

You should be so proud of yourself!!! You did an amazing job on the kitchen!! The only thing I would do myself, with 5 people in the camper is put in a new tall faucet with the small sink. Just to make it easier to get pots etc in there. Love the whole thing!! Have many wonderful family memories camping with your beautiful family & God Bless!

Love it! Thank you for the detail. I am thinking about doing just his myself. I love our trailer but it’s beginning to look a little worn. Love the upper white cabinets and the dark lower cabinets. Also the adhesive tile is a great idea too.

Hi Kayla, Watching this one again with my dad. Another thought for your liquid sandpaper.... you can also use TSP (Tri-Sodium Phosphate) to "de-glaze" the camper walls. Another thought & easier to get 👍👍👍👍

Nice job, we need to finish up our 1964 oasis camper, but I'm trying to keep it to the 60's, so it's taken time to find things they are still out there you just need to look hard. I like all the touches you did it is a WOW factor.

use clear ir white caulking between your backsplash and the counter to avoid moisture go under the furniture by thhose corners . great job!

Great job!! You should cover the countertop with epoxy. There’s some great countertop epoxy videos on RU-vid. It would be inexpensive with this counter!! Plus you can use it on the table if needed. Just for long wear.

I painted a kitchen in a house once. It is indeed a lot of work and using oil based products is quite yucky. Good for you for putting in the time and effort. It looks amazing.

The white cabinets made a huge difference! The white really opens up the space and make the kitchen look so much bigger.

Kat Reid Actually the white paired with the black is equivalent to two big horizontal stripes and really expand the space. Where you need to see if things are clean and bright, the white works really well.

It looks so nice and cosy and I bet you'll have your best weekends and vacations in the camper. Kids loves to be where their parents are and you don't need to go abroad on an all-incl. resort to have great holidays. I would actually say that when having kids younger than teenagers they get so much more out of of the vacation being not to far from home and you save them from the stress of traveling by plane. Way to go DIY MOM! 💕🌸🌺

I used contact paper to redo my Formica counter tops back in the early 70's. It lasted a long time as long as you were careful, Not as much luck with the Smart tiles. I plan to remove them and use real tiles.

I saw that someone spread a thin layer of cement over there camper trailer and then modge podge’d it. It looked really nice and they LIVED in it for 6 mo and no chips! Also you can buy industrial contact paper online it is really thick and much wider.

For the seams on the countertop could you use a bit of caulk or batting to clean up those lines? I know that contact paper is a pain to apply seamlessly so I was just throwing ideas out there. Stuff to try!

For everyone watching this video and also redoing a camper caulking the sides around the sink and the backsplash will make a big difference in time because the foil doesn’t get any moisture under and it doesn’t peel off
