This video shows how I took a simple board of pecan wood and made two lovely charcuterie boards out of. It may seem like a difficult thing, but this is one of the simplest woodworking projects I have made to date, all I did was cut up a board in several nasty ways. these nasty ways included using a thickness planer, table saw, miter saw, scroll saw, and orbital sander. just to change and alter how this board looks. Intriguing how a thing of such simplicity can be a thing of such beauty as well.

I use the youcut (free version) app on my phone to put all the clips together, and then for some of my more recent videos, I transfer a draft over to my laptop and use movavi video editor (not free) just to add the voiceover. All the video editing I do on mobile tho. I have found this is the quickest and most convenient way for my video style

@@WoodenLegWoodworking Thanks a lot for the response. I’ve made over 150 RU-vid videos since 2007. I have never edited a single one … but now I’m gonna try. I will absolutely use your method on my next vid. Thank you for your input.

What did you use for the finish? Is it food safe?

I used Howards butchers block oil. Yes, it is food safe.

lower that table saw blade! You only need the blade just a little exposed above the material you are cutting.
