Easy Diy Co2 for Planted tank under ₹100.
I have demonstrated how to make DIY Co2 using Citric acid and Baking Soda for your planted tank. This would easily last for more than 15 days and would only cost ₹100 per month.
Plants can survive without co2 but they can't grow well without it. My plants growth almost tripled when i added co2 in my tank. Pressurized co2 is very expensive and not everyone can afford it so this is a easy and cheap DIY alternative for supplementing co2 to your tank.

You can close the regulator manually or you can use solenoid valve for automatic switching.

Pressure of co2 in soda bottle goes into the aquarium tank. There is no problem. But , when the soda solution is mixing with citric acid because of disbalance of pressure , there also co2 creats. But in the acid bottle there is no output for the gas . How can i control the pressure in acid bottle? It can be blast ! I am worried and puzzled for this matter. Can you explain in details?? I have made this but i stopped all the reaction when i saw the pressure in the acid bootle...

It is an instant reaction so co2 gets produced immediately but we usually wait for a few hours so that the pressure builds up

Can we put regulator between A and B bottle to turn off the flow of citric acid . And how do you turn off the the co2 during night if the citric acid continues flowing in bottle B and the regulator is then there is high chances of explosion.

Yes you can put a regulator. But i won't recommend that as that may cause leakage. I use solenoid valve to turn off co2 at night or you can manually turn it off. And don't worry about explosion, citric acid only flows into bottel b when there's low pressure in bottle b. So when pressure's enough citric will stop flowing automatically.

You can used saline kit( used for medical purposes ) to make it and it has a regulator also so it is cheap and best . you can buy it from any pharmacy

Bro my diy co2 needle valve damages not controlling co2.....I buy 6 mm size needle valve in amazon but those not control ....can u suggest any brand needle valve controller.....

There's no brand as such. I'd suggest you to buy it off-line

I am also using 6mm needle valve from Amazon.... Just put a 6mm ball balve before the needle valve and use this to turn off your co2 when light is off.... This way no pressure is build in the needle valve and it will run for log time also.... Just set the Needle valve ones and leave use the ball valve to control co2

I don't know about any other acid. I've only used citric acid and never seen anyone using any other acid.

Co2 should be supplied 4-5 hrs a day. Solenoid valve is a electric switch used for automatic switching of co2. Their are various methods to calculate bubble per second. The simplest one is trial and error. Start supplying 1-2 bps and then slowly increase it till you feel your plants are pearling good enough.

Yes they will love the tank with lots of plants. Just make sure you don't overdose CO2.

100 rupie ka co2 4 day chlta hi or co2 kit 2000 ka amonzon pe isse acha co2 silender lena acha hi dy me zanzat bahut hi silender 4/500 kg ka rifel 300 hundred hi chif to hi 2 year chlta hi

100rs ka co2 kitna chalta hai vo tumpe depend hai. Leak proof banalo to jyada chalega. Aur ha bhai Diy me zanzat to bohot hai. But 300 me sirf 4-5 kg gas milega, cylinder ka price jayega 3-4k aur upar se uska regulator bhi bhi jayega around 2k. Overall setup cost 6k+ jata he hai. Aur agar 4-5 kg ka cylinder 300 me milta hai to bhai muze bhi lena hai batao muze kaha milta hai.
