Check out part 1 on my channel!
DIY cold plunge lid for 100 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank. Made with a heavy duty tarp, Foamular 250 2” Foam Board Insulation, and a piece of 3/8” Siding. This is the start of my cold plunge build. For the fall and winter months, I will just be using some frozen water jugs and draining the water periodically. Come spring, I will further insulate around the stock tank and add a chiller and filter system. I may move it into the garage at that point to protect the components from the elements.

Damn you’re gonna have to dump and clean that tank so frequently without a filtration system.

How cold does it get with the gallon jugs?

@@chrisz.9974 this time of year, about 8-10 gallon jugs to get it cold enough. It would likely require less if I kept it off the concrete, shaded, and insulated.
