Ro Ro cool! It’s pretty simple for the most part. Just take the time to make sure your measurements are correct. There’s also different ideas on how to fully weld the bungs out there. I welded 1/3 at a time and let it cool before welding more. Put a wet rag inside the threads and it works perfect.

Are you going with a right hand left hand thread for adjusting? Like you did on the tie rod video. Great stuff bro. Keep em coming

Lon Redmon yes that’s correct. If you put 2 of the same threads on when you go to turn it one side will push out and the other will pull in. So by doing one of each they will stay even when you turn the tubing. Thanks for watching!

You think so but you’d be surprised if you actually rock crawl hard they will bend like nothing. Reason why some run solid aluminum lowers so they flex

You’d have a killer market for 88-98 k1500s trucks. They discontinued them so we can’t get any new lower control arms. 🤦‍♂️

Im tempted to atempt making trailing arms and toe rods for my Camaro, i dont see spending over $100 on square tubing, round tubing and poly bushings; then again i might be wrong.

For some it’s cheaper and depending on the length it’s needed in order to get a custom setup. Abs really some of the ok the shelf ones are more money and might not be as strong

@@CardinalOffroad i actually remembered i have a prothane suspension kit i had bought but went a different route so i can source thru the kit for bushings i can use for this car. The cheapest trailing arm/toe rod combo for this vehicle is $279 in non adjustable design so i know 1.5-2.00 inch .120 tubing can be had for under $50 in lengths that can be cut to the 4 pieces needed not counting the end where the bushings will go.

What kind of welding type? MIG with gas?

Yea I mig welded everything besides some stick welding when I built my frame.

It will be the same process for any vehicle. The only thing that will charge is the length

Kevin Clevenger to be safe you can use pvc to mock them up since it’s fairly cheap. Get your brackets where you want them and be sure to leave about a half inch of adjustment on your heims. Once you get it set and feel confident you can cut your DOM to the same size as your pvc.

In order to build arms I’d need measurements from eye of axle bracket to eye of frame bracket.

Oh ok bro and how many days you would have it ready? Also I wonder if you can make like a custom Bump stop front mount you see the Colorado has a bump stop but I so small I want something little bigger there anyway I can contact you more directly so I can send you pic what the stuff I want custom made

TMR, Ruff stuff or Arrtec are a few

That depends on your setup. If you call any of those places they will tell you what you need. I strongly recommend 1/4 in wall steel though for your links. And use DOM not pipe

Cardinal Offroad I have a sprint car frame Jeep axles that I narrowed 12 inches and 40 inch loader tires with a sb 350 th400 transmission and 203 transfer case
